The last mare I foaled out was on March 14. I have been extremely bored at work since then. We finally had another mare foal last weekend but I missed her because it was my weekend off and I was in Winnipeg. Now I've got another mare that should foal at any time. I got to work this evening and wrapped up her tail because she's ready to go. I hurried through feeding horses so I wouldn't miss her. I've been sitting on my ass since then watching her sit on her ass (figuratively) doing nothing. Stupid mare. :mad She'd better not foal during the day. That's the only way I'll miss her because I'm not off again until next weekend.

I would stay just to see it 
Can't you take her out out for a stroll through the stable to help move the foal along?
She did not foal during the day. She foaled at 11pm last night...and I still missed it. :tooth I went to check on her at about 10:45...she was standing there looking back at me so I went to harrow the arena. When I got done I went back down to the mare barn to see the happenings and the foal was on the ground. 
Ah well, what you gonna do, eh? I win some, I lose some...well, to be honest, I lose a lot. :ninja
