The last mare I foaled out was on March 14. I have been extremely bored at work since then. We finally had another mare foal last weekend but I missed her because it was my weekend off and I was in Winnipeg. Now I've got another mare that should foal at any time. I got to work this evening and wrapped up her tail because she's ready to go. I hurried through feeding horses so I wouldn't miss her. I've been sitting on my ass since then watching her sit on her ass (figuratively) doing nothing. Stupid mare. :mad She'd better not foal during the day. That's the only way I'll miss her because I'm not off again until next weekend.

She did not foal during the day. She foaled at 11pm last night...and I still missed it. :tooth I went to check on her at about 10:45...she was standing there looking back at me so I went to harrow the arena. When I got done I went back down to the mare barn to see the happenings and the foal was on the ground. Ah well, what you gonna do, eh? I win some, I lose some...well, to be honest, I lose a lot. :ninja
