The Trials and Tribulations of One Freak of Nature

The weather actually hasn't been too bad here the last few days. Sunny and crisp, highs in the low to mid teens (Celsius). :D
It's been windy and rainy the past couple of days here. The temps have been playing around the 50 degree mark. (Fahrenheit). :)

I just know that very soon now I'll be waking up to that four letter white stuff. *sigh*

It is your thread..... You can be a smartass if you'd like.

Being a good girl is soooooooo boring at times. I would know. ;)

I was nearly scared pantless tonight at work. :willy_nilly: The sun sets at 6:00pm and I usually start night chores at 8:30pm which means I'm feeding horses in the dark. There are lights around the paddocks by the barn so it's not so bad there but it gets pretty dark out in the pastures, especially if there's no moon. I was heading out to the "back 40" and it was a little after 9:00pm. I had just passed the machine shed when I felt something brush against my leg. I jumped a mile and shouted "WHOA" and then I saw that it was Kit Kat, one of our barn cats. He had decided to come feed horses with me but didn't tell me he was coming. :24: He usually makes noises that sound like a purr/meow when he's approaching but I was listening to my iPod so I had no clue he was there until he bumped my leg. I yelled "Holy crap, Kit Kat!!" and started laughing and he just looked at me as if to say "Well?? You going to pick me up or do I have to keep walking?" :24: So I picked him up and he was purring madly away. I love that cat. :D
