Aw, that sucks. I haven't broken one of my models yet. My mom broke the wing off of my pegasus. I sent it back to the artist for repairs, though, so now it's as good as new again. I find it odd that I've never broken one. :unsure: Most of them are plastic so I guess that makes a difference.

WAIT!!!! I HAVE broken one. I knocked my porcelain Arab (I only have two porcelains) with a candle holder a few years ago and broke the tail off. I haven't been able to find a glue that will stick to porcelain.

Plastic definitely makes a difference on accident survival.

I have a small porcelain horse that I received as a gift from my Great Aunt when I was a child. My sister was mad at me one day and snapped his lower leg off. It's glued on... with what I have no idea.... but it's hard to see it unless you are really looking. There's a line of course. That horse resides in my china cabinet along with the others.

Pay back to my sister was taking a springer spaniel that this same Great Aunt had given her and snapping his damn tail off. Bwahahahahahahahahahaha.....

Man..... Children are wicked at times. :willy_nilly:

My sister wasn't allowed (by me) to touch my My Little Ponies when we were kids. A few years ago she confessed to touching my favourite one once when I wasn't looking. :eek :willy_nilly:

My older brothers used to do unspeakable things to our dolls! The ones I can speak about involved karate and boxing.

I reported the abuse to my father and he acted swiftly and with a force that shook their world. Not that it stopped them by all means..... but when father decided that the tattling was getting a bit out of control and that the tattler would be given a fine also..... us girls resolved to our own devious tactics.

Many a car, truck, military force made of plastic green stuff, and baseball cards..... vanished. Ransom was demanded. Usually we got anywhere from a penny to a nickel per item. We bargained hard!

If those brutes tried that same thing with our array of dolls, jewelry, and other pretties..... we'd just cry to mother. She loved her little girls fiercely and could never justify the boys idea of fun and games by treating us so mean. I could listen to her lecture them for hours..... I learned a lot from her.

You sound like my sister! She is insane about my little ponies and collects them. I was not allowed to touch them unless I was helping her to wash them.

How many does she have? I still have mine packed away somewhere. My favourite is Galaxy. I always wanted a Princess Serena, for obvious reasons. :ninja

That's the breed I work with so I have a lot of exposure to them. I also love thoroughbred racing but thoroughbreds aren't nearly as pretty as Arabs. I wish I knew more about Friesians. They are absolutely stunning. :nod:
