The Official WWE/TNA thread

Ah, okay. I don't think either Nash or Hall have been Champs have they?

Hall never won a World Heavyweight Championship... but he held the WCW U.S. Title, WWF Intercontinental Title, and WCW Tag Team belts. Nash was a one-time WWF World Champion as Diesel, and won, well I don't know how many WCW World Championships during his time there. He also held both the WWF and WCW tag titles if memory serves.

I just read his Wiki. He has a Pacemaker at 52, that's terrible. All the years of alcohol and general substance abuse caught up to him. What a shame, I always enjoyed him on WCW.

These type of situations is why I applaud the WWE for the steps that it has taken with it's wellness program. They suspend guys for usage, and terminate them on their third strike... plus, they offer assistance any all current and former employees/contractors that have substance abuse issues.

Good on them. They have come a LONG way, that's for sure.

TNA IS better than WWE but WWE is just pathetic.

I HATE John Cena, he's a joke. That waving his hand infront of his face shit really pisses me off.

Wait... did you honestly say that TNA is better than WWE? Hardly. TNA is an absolute joke, and got even worse after Bischoff and Hogan took over. They tried to do the same thing that they did with WCW, only they used a lot of the same aging stars for the most part. I haven't watched it since they buried Christian after his first title run.

They absolutely have, say what you will about them and what they've done in the past, but they're doing a damn good thing with this. I just wish something like this existed earlier, then Hennig, Benoit, Eddie, and a whole host of others might still be with us today.

I didn't realize Chris Benoit had passed away. That's a shame. The Canadian Crippler! R.I.P.

Oh geez dude, you really are out of the loop... he murdered his wife (AKA Woman AKA Nancy Sullivan) and kid before killing himself. That was, uhm... almost four years ago now. It got some serious mainstream media coverage after it happened.

Apparently the breakdown angle on Raw was written to allow Kharma to have 9 months off.

Yep, 9 months.

Think about something that takes 9 months.

(I muust just stress these are just rumours and haven't heard anything concrete than Kharma is in fact pregnant)

Some various bits and pieces.

-- Tiffany and Drew Mcintyre are getting a divorce!

-- Layla is out for 6 months, she's torn her ACL and MCL.

-- Kharma WILL be on Raw Monday to explain her breakdown of Monday.

-- The Wrestlemania buyrate is in, and it's good news, the show did 1.042m buys worldwide.

SMACKDOWN SPOILERS AHOY

-- The Smackdown ME of the June PPV will be Orton vs Sheamus.

If I'm remembering right, he left the company after they let his girlfriend go. He then went into MMA as well as signed with TNA, and ended up leaving in order to focus solely on his MMA career. Last I knew he was fighting in Strikeforce and lost his last match there.

He recently fought in a smaller promotion, and won but looked absolutely terrible. Lashley has shown himself to have no endurance and no heart whatsoever, he is going to get HURT if he ever faces a legitimate opponent.
