Jericho knows how many internet marks there are...and those people hang onto every word and he plays off of that...was a cool surprise though that it was him...liked the jacket...and thought it really cool that he could elict such a response for 10 minutes...without having to utter a single word...that's what I call being over...should be interesting where this goes...and if him and Punk headline Wrestlemania

Somewhere, in a basement far far away, Gabe Sapolsky is masturbating furiously.

hahahaha... I can just picture Gabe now...hahaha...I lol'd big time...awesome line...I think Gabe probably marked out more than any of us did hahaha...but awesome to see two guys who got their roots in independent wrestling headline the WWE's two top shows...awesome...I never thought they would give the ball to Bryan, let alone have him have hold the title more than a day...now if they would just let him proclaim that's he's Bryan Danielson and let him have his name like they did Punk, that would be the icing on the cake...but totally awesome to have these two guys on top right now, from a purist's point of view anyway..what's that about not being a professional wrestler again? lol

Right, shit's going down on Sunday. Basically there's gonna be about 9 people in the ring before Jericho comes out, he'll tease entering before going back and then bringing out Harold Camping. Least I think that's what he means by "the end of the world as we know it". I still want his jacket, what a man.

Decent Royal Rumble thus far. The triple threat cage match was ok if a bit short (though this was because Henry's carrying and injury) but a cool finish. The divas match was pure filler. Cena vs Kane now, got a good story at least.

The countout finish worked.

Drew vs Brodus was pointless.

Dolph vs Punk was great, had the story of Laurinautas trying to play the good guy which was brilliant.

Rumble was decent but not great. Sheamus won which is good. They did a couple of surprise entrants (Road Dogg, Kharma) as well as all three announcers entering. Good bait and switch at the end where Jericho and Sheamus were the final two.

Wow... the Rumble just fucking sucked. Easily the worst one that I've ever seen. The Rumble match is one of my favorites, and it just seemed to lack the chaos that you usually see in it. There were some fun moments like Sock vs. Cobra... but all three announcers involved? No thanks... at least Booker looked pretty good during his time in there. Hacksaw? I can somewhat understand it because he won the first Rumble, but he's so horrendously out of shape that you couldn't take him seriously at all. I honestly thought that Jericho was going to win the thing, it just seemed like that's where they were going with it... so I was legitimately surprised when Sheamus won. I'm guessing he'll be going after a soon to be completely heel turned Daniel Bryan, and we'll see Jericho going after Punk.

Literally... about the only good thing about the entire PPV was the end between Jericho and Sheamus. There was some decent stuff, like the cage match... despite how obviously limited Mark Henry was. The WWE title match was okay, but there was too much going on with all of the times that Punk had Ziggler tapping or down for a 17 count on the mat. I just honestly expected a lot more. I fast forwarded through the women's match and avoided watching Brodus Clay do his impression of Disco Inferno meets The Godfather. Kane and Cena was a pretty decent brawl, the countout finish worked for what it was, but I really didn't feel the match at all.

I did pop for Road Dogg, and Kharma returning and scaring Cole out of the Rumble got a laugh out of me. But honestly, I wish I hadn't downloaded it and stayed up watching the thing... even though I have no reason to get up early tomorrow. It was just a steaming pile of crap as far as I was concerned.

It's one of those things, loyalty to older wrestlers. I'd rather Duggan's spot went to another superstar who would look better. Also seemed to be as if the times were off cue. It didn't seem like 90 seconds at times. Sheamus winning I don't think matters that much because Wrestlemania already has Cena/Rock, I'm not sure what happens with Jericho now because I had him pinned to win.

I honestly expected CM Punk to stay until the end, even doing a Shawn Michaels and leaving the ring before getting back in later. But it was rather entertaining seeing Kharma, Hacksaw in there. I didn't expect Sheamus to win but he done really well, even though the best moment of the whole rumble was Kofi Kingston walking on his hands to save himself from going out.

Mania will have these as the "top three" matches...

Cena vs. Rock
Jericho vs. Punk (WWE Championship)
Sheamus vs. Bryan (World Championship)

Cena and Rock will go on last as the "true" main event of the night... Sheamus and Bryan will be the first of the three top matches, and probably go in the middle of the card. The three matches will most likely be spread out with a filler match in between each one.

Well, with the return of Undertaker tonight and his non-verbal challenge of HHH for a match at Wrestlemania; I think we can add that match as well.

Ooh... Triple Threat... Undertaker vs. HHH vs. HBK

I actually think Bryan will lose the Title at Elimination Chamber to Orton, who will then face Sheamus. Jericho vs Punk has to happen. Taker vs Triple H will too. Raw was a very entertaining show this week, plenty happening and some good matches. Expect Raw to be more like this in the buildup to Wrestlemania. The way I'd actually book Triple H vs Undertaker is something like....Triple H runs Raw right now, and I think he should make out like his wrestling days are behind him, despite Undertaker showing up most weeks to challenge him. Then something happens to make Triple H accept the challenge (what that is I don't know yet) and the match happens from there.

Orton vs. Sheamus at WM doesn't make sense unless one of them turns heel. It looks like we'll either see he and Barrett either in the Elimination Chamber or having another PPV match against each other.

I like your idea as far as HHH/Taker goes... Which means that WWE won't do it. :24: actually, it makes a lot of sense and I could actually see creative go that way. The other scenario is that we see Johnny Ace keep his job next week after Hinter accepts the challenge.

Raw was definitely better than the disaster that was the Rumble. I hated that we basically saw replays of the Rock and Cena videos from the Rumble, but I guess you have to play them since not everyone bought the PPV (which I'm sure they're glad of now). Cena laying waste to Kane was good stuff... Should see a no holds barred match at Elimination Chamber. Bryan and Pink was the best wrestling match I've seen I'm a while... Which was to be expected. Jericho and Punk should be every bit as good.

Jericho said pretty much everything I expected him to... Punk coming out and trolling him the same way he trolled everyone else was genius.

We're definitely headed to HHH/Taker at WM... and I think we'll see HBK play some part in it next week.

Holy shit Miz fucked up big time... he's fucking lucky that Truth is reportedly okay after that botched spot.

Good on the WWE for holding him out of the match after that though. Evidently, WWE management, HHH especially, were pissed at him, as were a number of other workers.

Some more great build towards Taker/Triple H there and Punk/Jericho. Again a pretty good Raw, and that run should keep up next week with Shawn Michaels there. The week after will be Taker again and then The Rock. So expect Cena to win the Ambulance match with Kane at EC and put Kane out for a few weeks.

Jericho won the six pack challenge like I expected he would... I loved him sitting in the middle of the ring with his legs crossed like Punk at the end.

RAW was pretty good this week IMO, I'm gaining more respect for Dolph Ziggler every week, that guy does by far the best crumpled heap I've ever seen. Oh and wtf happened to Brodus Clay?

Ziggler has sure as hell come a long way from Nicky of the Spirit Squad. :24:
