The Official WWE/TNA thread

Morrison tweeted earlier today that he's going to be undergoing neck surgery... so he'll be on the shelf for a while.

In other news, the word is that Vince didn't foresee the huge outcry over Christian losing the title and may be reconsidering letting him run with it in the future.

A program with Orton wouldn't be so bad. The thing is, and this is what I think people have failed to consider, that Christian is nog big enough to carry a brand. And that's exactly what he would have been doing. Smackdown is extremely weak at the moment and Christian as the leader wouldn't have made it any stronger. Orton is a recognised main eventer and has the ability to carry a brand. Could the reign have gone for longer? Yeah sure, but not over a prolonged period of time.

Before this Title change the Smackdown main event for Over The Limit was Christian vs Mark Henry. Jesus.

So are we looking at Christian vs. Orton at Over the Limit now? I haven't been following things super closely over the last week or so.

My issue with pulling the title off of Christian so fast is that he was Ortoned even worse than Orton himself was after he won the title and it immediately got put on HHH. How are you going to know if he can run with the belt if you don't give him an opportunity to.

Who does Smackdown have as their top heel right now with del Rio and Swagger both gone? Christian has proven that he can work effectively as a heel, so he could conceivably turn and chase the title for a while.

RIP Macho indeed. That was pretty sad.

Inface, the entire WWE thing is sad. I used to watch it years and years ago when I was really little when Jake the Snake and the Ultimate Warrior was on there (I forget everyone else). I watched it a few years ago and now it's more like a soap opera for men. Pathetic.

You should watch the documentary "Beyond The Mat", you'll never look at Jake The Snake the same way again.
