WTF!!! The easter bunny isnt real?? :willy_nilly:
- There's a motel opposite Titan Towers that used almost exclusively by prostitutes and their clients. The motel is used in several WWE vignettes, specifically one of The Highlanders' hype videos.
- Dusty Rhodes repeatedly, and publicly, complains about how he wished he'd saved his money better so that he didn't have to work for creative, because they kept making him work Friday nights.
- One of the people who writes Raising Hope is a former WWE writer.
- JBL used to take pictures of every new writer for his mobile phone's phonebook. He listed all of them under the name "dipshit", apart from Alex Greenfield, who was named "Gay Alex", which Alex took as a compliment.
- Todd Grisham is a suck up to, of all people, Jonathan Coachman.
- Most of the creative team pass time in between weekend conference calls by drinking whiskey and watching porn in the office.
- Stephanie McMahon is very against WWE staff dating each other. Seriously.
- Pretty much everyone in WWE creative HATED the "Stand Up For WWE" stuff.
It was very cringeworthy.
- Most people in the WWE think that all the posters on THE BOARD are overly negative and just bury everything, so no one listens to their opinion.
- Jillian Hall's edible mole was made out of a customised gummy bear. Vince LOVED that angle, and also LOVED the Boogeyman.
- WWE spent at least $20,000 filming vignettes of Sylvain Grenier in Montreal, but never used any of them.
- John Cena got mega-pissed at one of the writers for not watching Velocity.
- Michael Hayes is brutal at trying to steal talent off other WWE shows for which ever show he's involved in.
- JBL was very nearly crippled after a horse fell on him during a rehearsal for a horse riding stunt in an ice hockey arena.
- WWE tried to contact genuine illegal immigrants to appear on TV during a JBL segment after the writers accidentally found real videos of Mexican illegal immigrants jumping the border whilst they were looking for stock footage of the Rio Grande.
- WWE is a "super conservative company" politically.
- The Mexican immigrants who JBL chased during his Mexican Hunter gimmick were WWE writers and the head coach of Shawn Michaels' wrestling school.
- Alex Greenfield thinks that JBL is the greatest cowardly heel of the 21st century, but he thinks, eventually, The Miz will be better.
- WWE threaten their writers that they're going to get fired pretty much all the time, for seemingly no reason.
- Stephanie likes to play mind games with the staff, but not as much as Vince.
- Lots of the creative team genuinely think that the whole WWE run of ECW was a rib on Paul Heyman as a punishment for saying bad things about WWE.
- Vince McMahon believes that there was only 2500 ECW fans in the whole of America.
- Vince occasionally makes high-ranking members of staff do demeaning, menial tasks, just because he can. Alex Greenfield mentions being forced by Vince to run around an arena and find John Cena a specific t-shirt. He was head writer of Smackdown at the time.
- Big Vito, during the dress gimmick, would walk around in a dress in real life, just to live the gimmick. He was eventually fired for, amongst other things, posing in Playgirl, but only once Vince found out that Playgirl was a gay magazine.
- The line, "Creative has nothing for you" almost always means, "Vince doesn't like you".
- Paul Burchill became a pirate because Vince had just watched Pirates of the Caribbean on T.V. on a day of and he really liked it. Originally, Burchill was going to be a crazy British billionaire based on Richard Branson.
- They both think that Del Rio losing at Wrestlemania was as part of a build to an Edge / Christian feud.
- Dusty Rhodes had a plan for Hornswoggle to have an angle where he actually lived underneath the ring, and had a little coach and TV and stuff under there.
- WWE sees Great American Bash 2006 as the worst PPV they've ever done.
I see worse PPV's, Cyber Sunday 2006 was worse, December 2 Dismember was maybe the worst PPV in North American history.
- Kevin Dunn is "the worst thing in the company". He's only in a job because Vince likes him, because he's a suck up, and pushes every single McMahon family angle to the top of the card. He takes everything personally, and buries talent just because he, personally, doesn't like them, or thinks they're boring in the ring.
- Big Vito, during the dress gimmick, would walk around in a dress in real life, just to live the gimmick.
Spoiler from the Raw taping concerning the WWE Championship match at Extreme Rules.
John Morrison beat R Truth and will take R Truth's place in that match against Miz and Cena, It will also be a steel cage match.
And the annual draft will be next Monday.
Cena to Smackdown
THANK GOD! Now I rarely have to see Super Cena on my fucking TV... since Smackdown isn't a show I usually watch.
Alberto Del Rio to Raw is genius, absolute genius.
Though it does mean that unless Christian wins the World Title Sunday, both Titles will be on Raw.
I belive there's a couple of reasons, the first is that they want at least one wrestler who appeals to the Latin Americans, Mexicans etc on both shows, because Smackdown has a following of them and not having either Sin Cara or Rey would adverseley affect that. The other reason is I don't think WWE are completley happy with Sin Cara on a live show because he was botching a few things a couple of weeks back and they feel a taped Show like Smackdown would help him.
Extreme Rules has just started, I'm watching on a stream.
