-- Shawn Michaels is on Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/shawnmichaels_).
-- The plan for Taker v Kane is to have a match on the September PPV and then a rematch inside HIAC in October.
-- "For all that is said about Cena and for the heat that he has from some of the guys for being, well, John Cena, he’s a total locker room vet who rules the roost backstage, and whenever he has something to say the place shuts up and listens to him. He’s also gotten a lot of praise for doing a great job leading Nexus through their multi-man matches on the house shows."
-- WWE are batting with the idea of debuting a new logo on or around the 900th edition of Raw. It may or may not be the one leaked (but I would be surprised because it looks like something a 4 year old made and not a multi-million dollar empire).
-- Various Weight Watchers clubs in America are experimenting with ending their sessions by saying "I'm such-and-such and I'm awesome." One instructor confirmed it was WWE-inspired.
-- Jericho buried TNA on a recent radio show. "They got nothing else going on, their booking is horrendous, and I say that with the utmost respect for those guys and I most desire to see them succeed, but it’s crap. You know it’s crap, they throw stuff up against the wall, and it’s so hard to watch when it doesn’t have to be. They’re doing 10,000 buys on Pay-Per-View, so let’s bring back the Sandman and Sabu, and maybe they could do 30,000 buys. Go for it; maybe they can do something out of it. Having a guy like Tommy Dreamer involved behind the scenes might be what they need. Get rid of the same old stuff that they have been doing over and over, and bring in someone with a new perspective, and maybe that will help them get their heads out of there asses and just making some money instead of doing this as sort of a vanity project that’s been treading water for the last four years." His view is shared by many in the business, including in TNA itself.
-- Almost everyone now accepts that Paul Heyman isn't going to TNA.
-- The Dudley Boyz are renegotiating their contracts, even though neither are happy with the ECW-themed PPV.
-- ROH filmed a special video for HDNet which is an inside joke based on a rant Alvarez made on his podcast concerning TNA and a gold boat. Bryan said he didn't hate TNA because if it did well then he'd make a lot of money and could buy a gold boat. The ROH video features Dave Prazak producing a small gold boat and shouting "I MAKE A LOT OF MONEY!" followed by a graphic of a ship with the F4W logo on a flag.
World Wrestling Entertainment was informed Friday morning by Lance McNaught’s father that he has passed away of apparent heart failure. WWE extends its deepest condolences to the McNaught family. Mr. McNaught was under contract beginning March 2003, performing under the name "Lance Cade," and was released October 2008. He returned to FCW, WWE’s developmental territory, in September 2009, and was released in April 2010.
I dont know who that is, was he new?
