It's marketing... stop acting like such an arrogant tool about it. :p

If I was going out to purchase a .30-30 lever action and it came between that gun and another comparable one, the features on it might persuade me to buy it over something else. It's simply their 464 with some different features on it. I'd certainly also hope that you'd realize that zombie comments by just about anyone are nothing more than jokes... though I suppose it's possible that you lack a sense of humor. :p

People are "stupid fucks" because they buy something they find aesthetically pleasing, along with the functionality? I'm sure people are also "stupid fucks" for choosing to buy a black keyboard instead of a white one.

Like I said, people showed up at the range with dressed up 10/22's with their 50 round magazines.

The caliber's offered offered in that rifle are either a .30-30 or .22LR. enough said.

I totally get whatever floats your boat, but guns that target a specific a "tacticcool" market is nothing but a waste of money IMO. In todays gun market, dress it up in black and put rails on it, and people will buy it for nothing more than those two facts. There is a difference however IMO between choosing between a color of a computer keyboard and buying a limited capacity .30-30 or .22LR dressed up to sell to a market.

That said, even though I consider people who show up at the range with dressed up black 10/22's with 50 round banana magazines blasting away at 50 yards somewhat strange (in many ways), I also realize that it's only my opinion.

Some people like to have their weapons be functional as well as look "cool". As far as keyboards go... there are extreme difference between different keyboards based on functionality, ease of use, and works for you. The same goes for weapons. :p For me, I'd rather have a black handgun rather than something nickel plated and/or gaudy.

I'm with ya retro, I hate the bling. And wood just looks too old school. That being said, I do make fun of anyone at the range who looks like they bought their gun at a Call of Duty booth. I've seen plenty of idiots with a pimped out gun missing the target at 7 yards...

Generally speaking, on average, that is exactly what I have noticed. Idiots with pimped out guns (but they look really cool) that can't hit the broad side of a barn. Then again, there are some guys with AR's who have no clue how to use the irons because why bother when you put an optic on the gun first and there is no reason to know how to actually use the irons?

I thought it would be cool to work at an outdoors shop because I had a clue to what I was doing. When one customer was looking for a compass for his zipper, and I had asked him other than perhaps using it for a reciprocating course, exactly how he was going to use that compass without a topographic map? He told me he was going to use the compass to "figure" his north heading so he would know "which direction" he was mountain biking. He was wearing a analog watch, and I informed him he could figure that info out with his watch, and explained how, BUT he still wanted that zipper compass because it would look cool. I knew right then I wasn't going to make it in retail LMAO.

Like I said, whatever floats your boat.

You may want to look at the Archangel set up for your next 10/22, it looks really cool:thumbup

Here is the M&P, I swapped the M6 off my G37 and put it on the M&P. The M&P now sits in my bedside drawer where the Glock did.

I took it to the range and put 200 rounds through it in 45 mins. In 200 rounds I did not have one problem. Zero.

Here is my first target from 50 yards:

The horrid grouping around the clown's axe is mostly from using a Springfield Arms XD-9, fucking POS, Croatian crap. I didn't think I could meet a worst 9mm than the 9mm Beretta the USAF issues.

It's light / laser combo, and I like it, but I've never actually used it. I mean, I flick it on, and off, to make sure the batteries still work, but I've never actually used it while shooting targets.

I stand corrected, it was 30 yards. I mis-heard the range master when I asked (full ear protection, so imagine that. :sarcasm). :D
