Peter, it is not that we should hate ''freedom of religion'', rather it is the abuse and misuse of this 'freedom'
at one's whims. It also doesn't matter if one doesn't believe in God but he doesn't have the right or freedom to
malign those that do!!

I believe in God..One God and as a Muslim I repeat this ' pronouncement', like any other Muslim, five times a day or more!!

THERE IS NO GOD BUT GOD!!:)
So, when I say this I am bound to bear total allegiance to Him!:)

You're wasting your time maz, he's not gonna read it. He's just gonna see your name and throw out insults...that's apparenlty all he knows.

No, I just don't put labels on people.....I think it's naive to form opinions about people depending on where they live...don't you?

About the adultery thing, it covers promiscuity and all other sexual behaviour, yes including homosexuality, if you were to read Leviticus, you would get at what I am meaning

I think you did a pretty good job on the original 10 Commandments. Your 1st 2 are in opposition to the original 1st 2 commandments, but work for many people today. Times have changed, just like our Constitution has over the years. I think tolerance for all faiths needs to be reinforced. The Dalai Lama has said "my religion is simple: it's kindness." I consider that quote to be very wise.

I agree with you but this is how ''tolerance' is viewed in a \civilized/ country!!
I must say that ''You take care of your pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves''...Or, first take care of your own house and then glance at others!!

Dalai Lama can say anything, mere sweet words because he doesn't have to work for a living!!

well there are some strange people who believe that was God's instrument, I would claim that is blasphemy to say "God sent his shooter", and it is being very judgemental on the victim, especially that 9 year old girl who was snuffed out

I agree with you. That's why I'm proposing doing something about these strange people. Wait for it... here it is... stop putting crazy ideas in their heads. What do I mean? Most Americans believe in freedom of religion. So why give lip service to commands in the bible that teach intolerance? Christians should make statements like, "We encourage everyone to worship God. However, if someone chooses not to, no one should harm this person. He should be treated kindly if he treats you kindly. To do otherwise is to bring God's anger on yourself." All I am trying to do is bring the Ten Commandments in line with this thinking.

Do Christians have to do what I say? Of course not. But they shouldn't complain if some nut takes the Bible seriously when they refuse to make it clear.

I am sure the Protestants (and even the Catholics) won't appreciate your comments. You are in a way trespassing upon their religious scriptures and beliefs. I think holding such acts in the list of ''Intolerance' may not be completely out of place!
