How is that more strange than a public school teacher talking about religion in the classroom? Public school is supposed to be totally nutral regarding religion.I had a Muslim friend who went to a Catholic school and that didn't present any problems, that was kind of even stranger!:wtf:
teachers should teach and not bully students.
whatever his opinion of faith he was simply bullying the boy and should be dismissed for bullying
oh and ron that orange country crap is the choppers luv
i agree with you over the suing ,but sadly i understand this happened in the US and you lot seem to sue over everything...i suppose it keeps lawyers in work and gives great pay outs.
the article doesnt say whether any disciplinary action was taken or not.
It is just another needless 'shot'.How is that more strange than a public school teacher talking about religion in the classroom? Public school is supposed to be totally nutral regarding religion.

:clapthe teacher wasnt talking about religion as i see it he was using the boys faith(possibly a very personal and important part of his life) to bully and ridicule him.
if he had said his penis and brain were small for instance i would have thought it just as degrading and bullying,he chose the boys faith which shows religious ignorance and intolerance so shouldnt be in a position to teach and influence young people.

I would love to hear how evolution slanders religion???No they aren't. They're supposed to teach evolution exclusively, which can be interpreted as anti-religious.... :willy_nilly:

Well, according to the most widely accepted religious views here in America...evolution calls them wrong??? :dunnoI would love to hear how evolution slanders religion???
Not really, since a lot of Christians believe in evolution. Even if we go with what you say, thats not anti-religious.Well, according to the most widely accepted religious views here in America...evolution calls them wrong??? :dunno
Right, but these Christians still believe in God and that God is behind it all. They are in essense separating science and religion. Folks that don't believe in God try to say that evolution disproves there is a God thus making it 'anti-religious'.Not really, since a lot of Christians believe in evolution.
