I don't have one... and i don't need too...
If you grow up around a parent who ingrains in you that all illegal drugs are bad then you sorta lean towards that view...
My grandfather was a cop...
I'm not against weed...
I'm just against legalization....

So you're admitting that you have no brain of your own, correct?

I will not accept your bait... I brought my own...

I'm not baiting you... that's what you said. You've been brainwashed, and have no critical thinking and reasoning skills of your own. You've been told what to think.

Dana, to be fair, I was raised that all of that kind of stuff was bad, too.

However, being a rational adult and doing my research, I've come to the conclusion that it's more beneficial and safer to have it legalized. It makes sense from a logical standpoint, IMO.

I won't tell you you're wrong, because you're entitled to your opinion. However, I think you should make a decision on your own instead of what other people told you when you were younger.

It will probably surprise some of you to see me say this, but I think it should be legalized. First and foremost, of all the possible intoxicants one could get their hands on, marijuana is the most natural and least toxic one that I know of. Second, decriminalizing it would free up wasted time and taxpayers money prosecuting people for possession of marijuana. Third, tax that shit along w/ prositution and clear up the national debt!!! LOL

Great post and great solution for the national debt too. At the end of the day, marijuana is no worse than alcohol imo yes people may abuse it but people abuse alcohol too. People should be allowed make their own choices about their own bodies, I find it strange that abortion is legal but smoking marijuana and prostitution aren't.

I tend to get annoyed by the hippies that gush about the wonders of marijuana, it's like...bitch it's a fucking drug like any other. It has its benefits and it's harm. Go knit a hemp sweater.

Overall I don't care. I don't think pot being illegal really stops THAT many people from smoking it, so it's not as if much will change in terms of consumption imo. Maybe a few drug tested workers will get a break from trying to beat the system.

The one thing I think is good about legalization is just that there are so many pot smokers in the jail systems when they probably shouldn't be. It's generally ridiculous to be in jail only for marijuana possession.

Here's an article I saw once on Cracked:

Legalize it for sure. My reason is simple. People are going to smoke dope it is just a fact. It is the same as drinking. Just inforce it like alcohol. You can't in public. You can't when your driving. You have to be responsible. Half my friends just smoke weed. They do in my back yard around a bon fire. I see zero harm in that. I don't smoke it myself nor do I want to. It's just not for me. On a side note do you think the goverment should be in charge of it ? Start pulling a profit ?

I voted to legalize it. I think grass does far less harm than alcohol. You don't see potheads involved in domestic violence. No you shouldn't smoke pot and drive.....u tend to drive too damn slow ;)

Sorry but i beg to differ. My ex used pot and he was involved in domestic violence. Living proofs: my son and I.

We've got lots of patients too at State prison who 'only' use pot yet have committed many crimes, even violent ones too at that.

Dangerous effects of weed/pot: impaired judgement, diminished inhibitions, paranoia and hallucinations.

and I can almost guarantee you that there are more people driving drunk on a regular basis than there are people driving stoned. Congratulations on the red herring though. :thumbup
