But i do a perfectly good job without another partner Daz....in fact probably better;)
Undoubtedly. :)
When it comes to large bureaucracies, they have to have some way to help make these tough decisions of who gets and who doesn't. A couple is going to win over a single person every time in an adoption situation when everything else is equal.

What I've seen done by single people wanting to adopt, though, is to sign up to be a foster parent. Rules are much more lax, I suppose because it's a temporary arrangement. Many, many foster parents have fallen in love with their foster kids and ended up adopting. It's hard to deny a successful foster parent when the kid wants to be adopted.

Interesting article, I especially liked this part:

In 1990, 6 to 14 million children had at least one gay or lesbian parent. Between 8 and 10 million children were being raised in gay and lesbian households.

So, if we add those up, there are between 14 million and 24 million children being raised by at least one gay/lesbian parent, yet people claim that homosexuals should not be allowed to care for children/ What do they say about those millions of children already being raised by same sex parents?
