I think it is NOT a debate forum but only a topic for general discussion.
Let's take it lightly otherwise you will soon find some adversary here who will 'make donkeys fly'

As to the original question, which I don't think I eve actually addressed- no, I don't think it should be criminalized. I do still disagree with it.

I think circumcision tends to keep the place tidy and free from germs which get stuck within the inner fold of the extra bark??

Out of curiosity... of those that are against circumcision, how many of you support abortion?

Yes, I think you did. But I am in no position to get on a high horse. I had my son circumcised. I did it because everybody else did. I regret that decision now. I meant well as did you. So I'm not going to be too hard on either one of us.
Btw, I never directly answered the OP. No, I don't think circumcision should be banned at least not completely. But I do think it should be the choice of the person having it done. So it should be banned until age 18. Of course, that would pretty much end the practice as very few 18 year old men would choose to have it done. Maybe if they're Jewish. That would probably be it.

Thats a whole other can of worms, and invlolves debating WHEN life starts.....at conception, at 3 months, or when bub is born....and I AINT goin there, although I DO have my opinions of course.

I thought I made it clear that if I had it to do over then I would do it differently. I am not holding others to a different standard than my own. Refusing to admit I was wrong would not be a virtue.

I don't see circumcision as a mistake...
If I ever had a baby boy, he is not going to get circumcised. I can't imagine the pain he would go through. He has a right to keep his hoodie on...
In your own words circumcision is an act of child abuse, an act of child abuse is more than just a "mistake" IMO.
