You really do need a dose of reality.
Just because you choose to live in a shit hole and complain about shit all around you doesn't mean the rest of us do. Texas has more cities with populations of over 1 million than any other state in the union. San Antonio is the 7th largest city in America. We have a huge military population, and we're one of the top choices for military people to retire once they've traveled the world, gaining a wealth of experience and education. Immigration to San Antonio is so strong and diverse, we have over 100 foreign languages spoken as a first language in our schools.

Do you really think such a population can remain uneducated, unaware, unenlightened?

Of course you do. You have your stereotypes fixed and no amount of factual information will shake them.

Texas is the bastion of right wing redneck asshattery that all that diversity has yet to overcome. They still cry "Remember the Alamo" as if defending that shit hole to the death against a superior force is something to be proud of. :24: Intelligent people would have just walked away to live to fight another day. But not you proud Texicans.

Might not be a bright future for all you Texican rednecks when the brown masses tire of your right wing shit.

Veering off topic but, why is this a selling point?

John thinks ... sorry ... John's paradigm of Texas, thus San Antonio, is that it is a homogeneous backwater even more ignorant (if that can be imagined) than he. I was demonstrating the cultural diversity in my city. Kids spend their entire childhoods meeting and befriending people from dozens of countries, dozens of cultures.

Acc is trying to convince us that all those Texican redneck honkies actually embrace diversity. :p

Acc ASSumes alot. I never said any such thing - I'm just making fun of him because he's such a sensitive Texican.

And I've lost count of the redneck Texicans I've heard bitching about that diversity and how English is their language and by gawd you can get the fuck out of you can't speak our language, blah, blah, blah. You ought to hear all those Houstonites piss and moan about their new neighbors from New Orleans compliments of Hurricane Katrina.

Hell, I love diversity because it torments the bigots, who tend to be conservative. And Acc called me - a confirmed pinko Socialist Liberal, a bigot. LOL thats some funny shit right there. :24:

Out with the old, in with the new?

Because they are gay and feel like they relate more to females than males? Why do people take hormonal drugs to alter the sex?
So no legitimate reasons...other than the students desire to go against the rules.
There are many regulations now on dress..belt buckles, coats with pockets, graphics on shirts...head wear etc
I can understand dress codes being enforced during graduation.

If it was one of the school jocks playing a prank at the expense of the school, no. If it is a genuine person wanting to be recognised for what they see themselves to be, why not?

Agree 100%

With no actual news story, everyone is kind of peeing in the wind per their own personal opinion.

Who has say whether it would be genuine or a prank?

I think showing some common sense with the history of the student in question would suffice. Don't think the person in question waked up the week before graduation and said "I want to be a woman now" LOL

I don't think you live under a rock. How could you possibly think there wouldn't be any way of knowing the students history per this topic????

If the student just moved there last month, all you would need to do is check with the previous school and or any professional help the student might of sought.

Yeah, lots of parents move their kids to a brand new school a month before senior graduation.

Why should one have to know the history?....Isnt that sort of a violation in itself..calling the prior school and asking if the student was gay?
Which would be a matter of opinion of the other person on the line.
Why would being gay require professional help?...If being gay causes one to seek professional help..why promote it?
