It is beautiful up here. It is just a shame that we have had many years of the appeasement of the unions and the giveaway pensions that will drive this state into the same fiscal situation as California. It has just taken a little longer to reach that point.

Appeasement of unions? Giveaway pensions? What the fuck?? How many pensions got fucked over by the Wall Street mortgage debacle that screwed their bonds and equities that were funding them? Why do you blame the victims? You have spent too much time quarantined over at FF with all the teatard idiots.

So let me get this straight...you would rather see your fellow middle class Americans fucked over because of one alleged example of a bad teacher so much you would vote for an asshole like Romney who would gladly fuck you over in favor of the corporate welfare class? How does it feel to be so pissed off at the world you screw yourself? Teatardism............wow.

How many billionaires backed Romney?
I have no idea. I bet you have no idea how many billionaires or millionaires backed Obama. The Republican party doesn't have the only wealthy members. I am cynical about both the parties.

In Ohio......that would be the taxpayers being fucked by the public sector unions and the politicians that negotiated their pensions in trade for support.
But it is being corrected ;)

Yup. They have contempt for the Constitution and the republic, and want a central national government to run everything from Washington. In short, they are anti-USA.

Serious book recommendation for you Stone. There's a lot more to the claim of "taxpayers getting fucked" - and it's not the unions that did it - there's a lot of "taxpayer fucking" going on and a lot of scapegoats as fingers get pointed in the wrong direction.

John - I just don't feel it's a matter of good and bad. You seem to think all Republicans are evil rich people out to get the poor folks. I have known good Democrats I have nothing against their party. This President I do think is rather an arrogant prick, however he is the duly elected President. As for those who wish to "secede" it is SYMBOLIC.

No doubt. Hundreds of thousands among hundreds of millions is 1/10 of 1%. Hardly a threat.

Just checked my Library and two copies are in stock.
I'll put a hold on one of them.

But I'm not expecting any new revelations.

Republican neo-conservative policies since Reagan have been devastating to the middle class and the Democrats have over extended entitlements since Johnson.
Corruption isn't only rampant, it's business as usual in DC.

Both party's actions have had negative effects on the middle class.....Bush obviously the greatest.

I stayed out of the Presidential debates this time because I couldn't in good conscience, defend the candidate I wound up voting for, Romney.....I thought poorly of both. Obama a little worse.

However, I have no problem criticizing either one......but let's face it......Romney lost and there isn't much to say anymore about a Romney Presidency.....he's only a short piece of history, now...the focus is now, again, on the policies of Obama versus a Republican House.
So don't take it personal......Obama merely got another turn in the barrel.......:D

So why do you feel President Obama is an arrogant prick? Is this the right wing media talking or do you see things in his speeches and public addresses that warrant this description? Agree with him or not, I look at him and see someone genuinely concerned about the overall health of this country and is concerned with working class people.

I believe the right wing HATES his guts because they hate his priorities and it is not good enough to say I hate your priorities, in a tradition started (or restarted) in my life time by the 1980's GOP, it's not enough to dislike someone's priorities. In GOP thinking, you must also destroy their character, because otherwise, how could they have such screwed up priorities, such as working class voters? Preposterous! ;)

prick: Purposefully annoying and/or uppity. Derisive term for a mean or unkind person; "jerk". Insulting term of address for people who are stupid or irritating or ridiculous.
