is this a poll to ask who is a better guitarist? Slash or Richie Sambora? How is this even a question. Slash is the obvious choice! Richie Sambora is simply a member of a sappy band while Slash is 'one' of the best guitarist in music history. he owns the the stage and he owns the guitar when he plays it. richie sambora (to me) just blends in with his band mates as just another guitar player. slash is a legend.

realistically speaking, slash is probably 1000 times better than richie sambora. in richies defense, i wouldnt put him up against legends such as slash or eddie van halen, jimmy page, eric clapton or jimi hendrix. richie sambora is out of his element. if this poll was richie sambora vs billy corgan, then yes, i would say richie is better, but not better than slash.

Slash is overated, I like some of his songs but he has no consistency, every time I here him rape the minor and major pentatonic scales, and hit a waaaaaaaaaaaay out of tune string bend, it makes me want to set him on fire (only joking btw)
