Johnny a smart boy like you who finished refrigeration school should know how insurance (Social Security) works It is not an entitlement like food stamps. If you had State Farm insurance and someone else had State Farm insurance would you gripe about him collecting on a claim?

Wow John...someone has actually gone through a real crises in life and you use it as an attack .
You kids should be proud :clap

And if you fuckwit teabillies had your way, he would be tossed out into the street with no health care that you teatards say is not a right, and no income or housing, which you conservotards also say is not a right.

You still aren't bright enough to see the irony are you?

Its over Johns head...Collecting on something you paid in to get later.
He thinks you should pay in and not collect.....you know just give that money to the government....and let em dispense it to others that can work but wont.

Hopefully he can clear this up for us.

See, you lack reading comprehension TM. There's a reason conservatives are always tring to cut education - they need lots of dumbfucks to remain in office because reasonably intelligent people do not vote against their own families best economic interests - only idiots do that.

Now, I'm typing reeeeeeal sloooooow so you can understand. I am happy to pay taxes so kitty cat can have food, shelter, medical care and a computer so he can post about how he votes to bite the hand that feeds him. Got it now TM?

John - I don't think most people mind paying taxes since they are obviously for a reason. What most people mind is the waste that goes on. With out the waste perhaps our taxes could be lowered?

John - that depends on how much I spent my state has a rather high sales tax. I also pay house taxes. Special tax fees are also added to my various utility bills.

You are already bitching about ACCs check...so are your for or against cutting education John?
How does that play into a families best economic interests?

The funny thing you mention about dumb voters...Obama care comes to mind...it is not in anyones best interest except the insurance companies John.
Its bad for business.
Makes things go up.
It lowers the check of the worker.
It reduces the workforce....which takes more tax to to carry those out of work.
All of these are not in the families best economic interest....especially in a crippled economy.
While you guys thought you were fucking the top one percent.....you were shoving it right up your own asses.
You stupid fucks will pass any social issue presented.

I'd love to pay less tax, however, I understand it takes taxes to operate a free society. We need infrastructure and schools and help for folks that need it.

I don't know what I paid in sales tax, but the rate is 8%.

Homeowner tax was a little over $3,600 mainly for schools.

Fed was just over $17,000

State was $5,600

About $11,000 for SS & MC - probably a good bit more because 401K deductions do not apply to those witholdings.

So my tax bill this year was about $37,200 not counting sales tax etc.

And if I am ever fortunate enough some day to hit that $250,000 mark on line 43 of form 1040 I will do the happy dance all the way to the tax office to pay my marginal rate. That is a fantastic income, far above 98% of the population.

You see, Cat - I do not have a problem paying taxes to live in a great country. I do not understand why so many middle class Americans vote to lower taxes on the millionaire and billionaire and CEO class. They take the vast majority of their income as capital gains and pay only 15% after deductions. And they have access to some deductions the middle class do not. That is just not right. What is wrong with asking the wealthy to repair and maintain our infrastructure in proportion to the extent they relied upon it to make their fortunes?

They were already taxed once on the salary before investing it...why should the capital gains be taxed again at the same rate?

You do understand the purpose of investing right John?
No

It is to try and turn a profit...to stay ahead of inflation.
Prices double about every 15 to twenty years john {literally}
So we tax the wage.
He invests the rest....why tax it again at the same rate.
Its a gamble John...are you willing to pay him if he loses on the gamble?
No....so why tax when he wins
