The Buust one wasn't deliberate, not at all, it was just an unfortuante collision. Horrific yes, deliberate no.

Here's the Cech one.

Again, with the Weather on the day it was difficult if sliding to avoid contact. He was going for the ball in my opinion, it was just bad luck he caught Cech's head.

The runner up would get in Europe anyway if City won and qualified for the Champions League through their league position. So yes Stoke City could get into Europe....

Could, but if their stadium is not up to European Football standards, well they could lose out

often it takes just one trophy to set the ball rolling,and of course the winners of bolton and stoke will have something to say about it....but what we have here is a cash strapped united and a rather cash flushed city

Once Liverpool get their act together, Man City will always be the Man City of old....always mid-table

To host a game in a European competition a stadium must meet category 4 in the UEFA guidlines. Here it is

Category four

  • Stadiums must be all-seated and have a minimum capacity of 8,000;
  • The playing surface dimensions must be 105 metres in length and 68 metres in width and entirely fence-free;
  • The playing surface must either be natural turf or FIFA-licensed artificial turf;
  • The substitute benches must be covered, seat at least 13 people and positioned at least 5m from the touchline;
  • The dressing rooms must seat at least 25 people;
  • There should also be a separate delegate's room, doping control station, and first aid room;
  • Stadiums must have CCTV both inside and outside and a security control room;
  • Must provide seating for at least 1,500 VIPs, 200 visiting team VIPs, and 400 square metres of a hospitality area;
  • The floodlights must light the pitch to an illuminance of at least 1400 lux towards fixed cameras and 1000 lux towards mobile cameras;
  • There must be at least three TV studios within the stadium with dimensions of 5x5x2.3 metres;
  • In case of power failure, independent back-up power supply to provide equivalent light intensity without interruption;
  • Minimum of 150 VIP secured parking;
  • No standing spectators allowed.
Given some of the shit-tips I've seen in Europe in the past, Stoke should be fine.

QPR not quite promoted to the Premier League yet, they drew 1-1 at home to Hull but Norwich won against Derby late and Cardiff won at Preston. They only need to avoid defeat in one of their next two games though to get promoted, one more win will make them Champions.

I think they will do it, looks like the three W's are fast becoming relegation candidates in the Premier League

Oh yeah I've no doubt they'll do it, and they could stay up too, they have money so I'm sure they'll spend.

West Ham have two huge games coming up, I doubt they can get anything from Man City on Sunday but after that they play Blackburn at home followed by Wigan away. If they don't get at least 4 points from those two they can pretty much wave bye bye.

Giggs always scores.....sometimes. Loved this game, frustrating we didn't win 7-0 as we could have had the chances been taken, but their keeper should take credit for keeping us out so long. But 2-0 is good, very good.

He was ok but lacked support from Farfan with him up front, he kept dropping wide. I think we'll win the second leg about 3-0.

Mourinho is very anti football. Breeding cheats too, like Marcelo, Ramos, Ronaldo etc. Marcelo should be off for violent conduct. I hate anti football teams, like these terrorists.
