Er did you miss the season when we finished 2nd? Did we not win a few trophies along the way? More than can be said for Arsenal who seem content of being 3rd all the time at every season, with hardly a trophy in their cabinet since I don't when

I'm sorry, I must have missed the newsflash where coming second meant you won the premier league?

You don't have a lot more to offer. You have inferior players to us, you have less chance of making progress in the league than us. Plus, the debt thing, remember it's not a typical debt in that it depends on success on the pitch, so be warned. We have targets to meet on the pitch, such as a high league position, qualification for the latter stages of the Champions League, progress in the cups. Same for you, except you're doing terribly and financially, Liverpool cannot afford to. Leeds United? Could happen, if changes aren't made.

And the difference between you and Arsenal is, Arsenal aren't in debt, you are.

You say this like you finished second consistently. Liverpool league finishes under Benitez.

04/05 - 5th
05/06 - 3rd
06/07 - 3rd
07/08 - 4th
08/09 - 2nd
09/10 - 7th

Arsenal league finishes in the same period

04/05 - 2nd
05/06 - 4th
06/07 - 4th
07/08 - 3rd
08/09 - 4th
09/10 - 3rd

So, really there isn't that much difference in the positions finished on average, Arsenal's main problem is the lack of squad they have. They have a good team yes, but hardly a squad. Plus they won't buy a good goalkeeper.

They wanted Reina, with these clowns in charge at Liverpool they would let him go.

And look where Lame Hodgson has put Liverpool, typical Man-ure fans saying he is good enough for Liverpool, but not for any other club :24: Goes without saying, if he was a good manager, I think Fergie wouldn't stand a chance :24:

That is news to my ears, apparently fans of Liverpool were protesting against Hicks and Gillett....didn't see that when Benitez was manager :24: So it is good news to hear that

Ah but they didn't get him, they could have done. Didn't get the Fulham keeper either, could have. And they are stuck with Almunia and Flappyhandski. And this is one of the reasons why Arsenal seem to struggle against those sorts of teams.

I never said he wasn't good enoguh for any other club, he is, but the reason I said he's good enough for Liverpool is because Liverpool are not a big club anymore and they do not challenge for the Premier League Title hence they will not attract a top name manager. History proves this. And if any Liverpool fans think they are a threat to the Title they belong in a home.

And Liverpool fans did protest against Hicks and Gillet when Rafa was in charge, it just got even more worse last season when rumors starting circulating about Rafa being sacked in the season, they basically stuck by Rafa despite it being his fault for the performances on the pitch. The main problem with those two is they don't get along, and for any sale to go through they would have to each sell, but they hardly talk, and that means Liverpool will most likely not be sold.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who do think that Liverpool are a big club, no matter what dire straits they are in regarding financial matters

That is a strange result for Man utd

Everton's victory over Brum puts Liverpool in the bottom three, and they have Blackpool. Another non-convincing result and I will be concerned if the board don't take action against the poor continuation of the results

You can't be serious about Pelligrini!

He managed real madrid for about 20 weeks, but what else? Carlos Queroz did that too... Maybe you'd like him at the helm of Liverpool

You keep mentioning this, but remember that the board are led by the chairman, who was installed by the owners. So they have no power.

Anyway, Hicks and Gillette are trying to sell up, so they can't fire Hodgson. Especially with loans being called in by the RBS in a few weeks.

Liverpool for relegation? It's actually a good thing if you think about it. Liverpool go down, we trim all the fat off the squad, the TRUE Liverpool players will take a pay-cut, the owners would sell quickly as a Championship side doesn't side too nice on their already fail-CV. Plus with the parachute payments, we'll get some money in, gain promotion the next season and/or win the league, gain more money and go back to where we should be AND ticket prices will be cheaper too.

What about that £300 million of debt? Relegation would mean that the club couldn't even be profitable in receivership. Liverpool FC would cease to exist.
