Wrong, from ticket revenue, shirt sales, advertising revenue, TV deals, Real Madrid earn about 300 million euro's a year. That's how they earn their money and that's how they afford players like Ronaldo, Alonso and Kadeirah (sp)

wrong...not so long ago real madrid were over £100million in debt....so the madrid council bought the training facility off them for £100million,then built a state of the art new one and donated it to them

Where was I wrong? Everything I said there is undeniable fact. Real Madrid do make their money that way. As for being 100 million in debt they were yes. But the problem is the councils are corrupt so yes backhanders are rife. The other thing is Madristia's are VERY loyal to their club, which is the other reason why they do so well, they wouldn't be seen dead going anywhere near a sports shop in Spain.

Here's the full interview....

"From what I saw I thought we dominated the second half totally.

"I thought the shape of the team was good, the quality of our passing and movement was good.

"We didn't score goals and Everton did but I refuse to accept that we were in any way outplayed or any way inferior.

"I watched the performance and the second half was as good as I saw a Liverpool team play under my management that is for sure."

just a point......if any liverpool fans want directions to the championships prime locations i'll gladly help with getting them to such exotic places as scunthorpe, doncaster and barnsley

I think the new owners will see that he isn't producing the goods, I think they are just giving him a false sense of security.....more money to spend on average players? I doubt it

To be honest, I don't think he'll be able to get any good in January because they'll all be cup tied for the various competitions, and with the way the squad rules it it makes it difficult. Which is why I think the main spending will be done next Summer, but it depends on where Liverpool finish, in terms of how much money will be made available and the players they are after wanting to go to Liverpool.

I think a new manager now would stabilise the already demoralised team and wait until the season is over to get new players

I think that Raul Menerelas (no idea how to spell it) looks good. And Poulsen isn't the best defensive midfielder in the world, but he's a cut (or several) above Lucas. So he hasn't bought too terribley. I know you don't like Konchesky, but he's almost certainly a temporary cover until Aurelio is back.

It's pretty typical that Benitez's last gift to Liverpool was Jovanovic :surrender

Well Kenny Dalglish is being talked of as a temp before bringing in a more permanent option next summer, Deschamps and Pellegrini are being bandied about.

On a somewhat related matter, Liverpool's next five league games.

Blackburn at home (they should win this, although I said this about Blackpool)
Bolton away (not sure, might just lose)
Chelsea at home (Lose)
Wigan away (it's difficult because Wigan really aren't that good either, but Liverpool did lose here last season, maybe the same)
Stoke away (again Stoke aren't particularly good, but they will kick Liverpool around for 90 minutes)

So let's say, from the 15 available points, they manage 5 points. Maybe I'm overestimating them....the only one I'm absolutely sure on is Chelsea.

I can't see them winning any under Hodgson, media have said that Torres is not getting the supply he needs..and its a team under instructions from Hodgson has formed. Even West Ham and Wolves could beat us

Even a hack who supported Hodgson's appointment has called him delusional, and I have been saying this all season
http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/17102...oal-90-seconds.html?act=new-comment&res=ok#co

And I quote:
Not content with this massaging of the grim reality of what Liverpool's fans had just witnessed Hodgson, to the general astonishment of all present, added: "That is as good as I have seen a Liverpool team play under my management."

If it was, it does not a say much for what has gone before.

Poulsen a good defensive midfielder? And the side let in two goals against a team who were on the same points as us before the match? We could of got a 5 year old to cover for Aurelio, he would of done much better than Konchesky, Raul after all he is being played out of position aka trying to do a Benetiz with a crummy player is just going to make a team worse, and a cut above Lucas? Don't think you have much support unless you are winding Liverpool supporters up.
