I think Andy Carroll would do well at Coventry ironically. Although Coventry are probably one of the many clubs who turned down the opportunity to sign Carroll for 1 million a few years ago.

Well, you'd have to have made it into the premiership to get that sort of money for those players. And hope Liverpool are flustered into panic buying again :D

To be fair, I think Henderson will be a good player. I really like him when he plays, he's got great technique and movement. Out of all the british talent Liverpool bought, he's the only one I think that has a future.

Just watched Newcastle vs Everton, 2-1 it ended to Newcastle which is good enough to take them second for hopefully a few hours. Own goal from Heitinga before an absolute fizzer from Ryan Taylor, if you do nothing else this weekend, watch this goal, it's beautiful. Rodwell pulled one back foe the break. Few injuries in the game too.

We play Sunderland at 3, looks a really strong side. Hopefully we should be able to gte the win which would put us back into second one day before the 25th anniversary date of Sir Alex. Rooney in midfield is inspired management.

Nice speech there from him, the greatest Manchester United manager of all time, and arguably the greatest British manager ever. The North Stand has been renamed the Sir Alex Ferguson stand, a nice touch.

Ended 1-0 to us. Wes Brown with an own goal. Sunderland at first appeared to given a penalty in the second half when the linesman flagged, but the ball struck the Sunderland man's hands on the replay. In the end not convincing, not a performance to adequately celebrate 25 years, but it's 3 points which is all that matters.

Liverpool draw at home 0-0 to Swansea. Lulz.

Beat Swansea City away, ending both their home unbeaten and no goals conceded record. Not convincing but a professional tidy performance with only a couple of issues of frustration throughout. Got the goal early on after a mistake let in Giggs who crossed for Hernandez to finish, he never misses those. The best chance they had was from Scott Sinclair who, when 6 yards out with an open goal, chose to hit it against his standing leg. But that was as close as they came. We had a number of chances to wrap it up late on with Phil Jones striking the post unluckily, Rooney missing a presentable opportunity etc. In the end a deserved win over a side with a good amount of buildup but not necessarily the finishing. They'll be fine as long as they keep showing the right attitude.

Yeah, this season they've beat Arsenal, Everton and Chelsea away. But then drew with Swansea, Norwich, Sunderland and lost to Stoke. Not to take anything from those teams but Liverpool really should be beating them. But it'll be fine if they hand Man City a beating on Sunday.

Still want to know what Coventry has to do with the Premiership, they haven't been there for years yet Tuffy still keeps going on about them in this thread, think he must have a secret festish about Oggy and wanks himself silly every night over a photo of him or something. :willy_nilly:
