No they're not. Here's where your trolling ends, you've done it before and it's pathetic. Do it again and you will be getting a red card. Back to Premier League talk.

Good news (In a way) Cleverley's only out for a month after suffering ankle ligament damage. Davies is still a thug though. He should be sued on the grounds of impersonating a professional footballer.

You accusing me of trolling?

Because you are, you were trolling for a reaction from skyblue with the Coventry post. This is a rhetorical post which you don't need to respond to, so drop it.

On a completely unrelated point - do you think Ronaldo will one day come back to United and if he did - how would the fans react I wonder. This isn't a rhetorical question, even if it's phrased like one :p

I personally don't see it. I mean he could but I don't see us wanting to sign him back given what his transfer fee could be. I think the fans would be happy with him though, even if/when he returns with Real Madrid, because he never let his head drop/performances deteriorate in his last season, and £80m was too good to turn down. I'll always be appreciative for what he did for us.

If he's no longer good enough for Real Madrid at some point in the future, then he's certainly not up to Man U quality.

I don't even think it'd be a case of that, I mean he has spoke of not being completely on speaking terms with Jose Mourinho in the past and while that appears to have been corrected, it could well happen again. Or maybe Jose leaves and real bring in a manager Ronaldo doesn't get along with. His biggest flaw is at times he can be stubborn and frustrating when he's not totally on form and it can affect the team. But no I don't think it's a case of him ever losing form as a reason why Real would sell him because he's far too good a player to go through a major bad patch.

West Brom's Gabriel Tamas has been charged with violent conduct for that elbow on James Vaughn at the weekend. Vaughn apparently needed plastic surgery for the cut he suffered. It did look pretty deliberate I have to say.

A wonderful game between Blackburn and Arsenal just now. 4-3 to Blackburn. Their first win and the third defeat for Arsenal. 1-0 and 2-1 to Arsenal in the first half, before Blackburn turned it around completely. 4-2 before Chamakh scored to make it 4-3. Blackburn's third looked a little offside but that second half performance deserved it. The late penalty shout wasn't a penalty for me, Robinson pulled away and Walcott went over easily. But wow, what a game. Blackburn go above Arsenal with the win. Breathless stuff.

Tottenham massacre Liverpool 4-0 at WHL, and that flattered Liverpool, they were second best everywhere, awful. Two men sent off (Adam and Skrtel) but both were correct, second yellow decisions. Adebayor scores twice on his Spurs debut along with Defoe and a Modric screamer.

Just the small matter of Manchester United vs Chelsea next. With Rooney on fire and Hernandez always dangerous I would expect a win, but it's Chelsea, with their good record here. But I'd be disappointed with anything other than a win.

Well that was a cracking game. Chances aplenty. 3-1 and we stay at 100% and with City throwing away a 2-0 at Fulham it means we are the only 100%ers. Smalling, Nani with a cracker and Rooney made it 3-0 before half time but damn if Chelsea didn't miss some great chances. Torres made it 3-1 early in the second half. Rooney missed a penalty, Torres missed an open goal. Ashley Cole should have been sent off, this game had everything. This weekend really could not have gone any better with us winning, City drawing, Chelsea losing (obviously), Liverpool providing more amusement and Arsenal being beaten at Blackburn. As well as the Stoke pikey's getting a European hangover dicking from Sunderland. Roll on next week, I love this league.

Yeah he got into the positions well, and was looking very good. Took his goal well, linked well with Mata and Anelka. But yeah, it's all about that miss. I still can't, after watching it again and again, figure out how he missed. Maybe he misjudged where the goal is which would show a lack of focus, or maybe it's just complacency that it's going in. I tend to side with the former, but there's no excuse for that miss.

There were other misses though, not on Torres level but bad. Rooney's penalty was poor, Berbatov could have done better with his, Ramires missed a great chance, De Gea's made the save but he really should have had no right to.

Torres will score goals, especially now it seems to have clicked with AVB that Lampard slows down the play too much now for the benefit of the team in the final third. But the old Torres is dead.

Lampard looked awful yesterday in the half he played, hasn't really looked that clever since a couple of years back. The biggest thing Chelsea are missing in midfield though is Michael Essien, they have nobody to play that enforcer role which he does so well. Mikel's awful, Ramires isn't strong enough, Mcechran is more a Lampard type player. On paper Chelsea's strongest midfield could be Meireles, Mata as the attacking two and Essien sitting deeper. Up front though is a conundrum, Torres seems to be getting some form back, Anelka could do business, Drogba's off and on, Sturridge should play more but only as a central striker because he's a centre forward, Kalou and Malouda are iffy at the best of times.

Beat Norwich 2-0 to stay top but we were extremely unconvincing, credit to Norwich for a performance which had all the effort of your typical Delia dish, but unlike Delia (so i'm told) lacked the finished product given the gilt edged chances they missed. The first half was fairly lethargic from us. Second half wasn't much better, we just happened to score twice in it. Pilkington missed an incredible chance when he shrugged off makeshift right back Antonio Valencia to find himself clean through, but put his chance wide. Anderson then headed us in front after Rooney headed it to him. Pilkington then added another chance when his shot was deflected onto the post by Anderson and somehow stayed out. We then turned up the heat but missed chances from Rooney and Welbeck, but it was Welbeck who made the game safe with 3 minutes to go when he and Park swapped passes and the striker slotted home. In the end we'll write this off as a scruffy ewin while having to show concern for another below par performance, especially considering our next 3 include Liverpool away and Man City at home. Norwich will take heart from an industrious performance while enrolling the forwards in shooting school. A win's a win.

Chelsea are absolutely destroying Bolton here, 27 minutes gone and it's 4-0. Lampard and Sturridge with two apiece. This could be a record.

90 minutes away from the biggest game in the Country, Liverpool vs Manchester United. I hate this game because we haven't played that well in it for a while, and lost the last 3 there, but before that we were unbeaten there in 7 years, it's a strange fixture. We're favourites going in, but that means nothing, they are game raisers against us. I think we need to go 3 in the middle, two against them hasn't worked. I'd take a draw, there;s nothing worse than losing to the vermin.

I'm suddenly dreading this.

De Gea, Smalling, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Park, Fletcher, Giggs, Jones, Young, Welbeck

The bench is drool (1).gif though.

Lindegaard, Rooney, Nani, Anderson, Hernandez, Carrick, Valencia.

Looks like the midfield layout is

----Fletcher------Jones-----

Young----Giggs-------Park

--------Welbeck----------

It's not too bad, it's fresh and rested enough, but it's kinda inexperienced.

1-1, fair result. Not too disappointed with a draw. Dive by Adam for the free kick but Giggs shouldn't not have left a gap after breaking. Chicha again with a crucial goal. Henderson missed a great chance right at the end. In the end I think Liverpool had the clearer chances but until the goal we were coping very well. It's a better result than the last few seasons anyway.

I was thinking it was a fair result, but then I remember back to what Reina had to do during the game and compared it to De Gea.

I think Man U can count themselves a little lucky.
