3-1 to us at half time. Cracking half of football. Welbeck opens the scoring with a header after some amusing Arsenal defending. Then Evans pulls down Walcott in the area but Van Persie has the penalty saved by De Gea. Young makes it 2-0 with a wonderful curler into the top corner which no keeper in the world would have saved, sad note when Welbeck goes off with a hamstring injury but then Wayne Rooney curled a free kick into the top corner to make it 3-0. Walcott pulled one back in stoppage time but at this time it looks just like a consolation.

From this second half yes, we've been wasteful in this half up to now. Arshavin shouldn't be on the pitch though. Dirty commie meercat cunt.

I didn't think they showed live rape on TV anymore, something must have changed.

This has been every bit as good as any PL performance from us. Yeah we haven't had it all our own way but it's not flattering in any way, we've been awesome, Rooney has been top notch. Sure it's been against a weakened Arsenal team, but to score 8 goals in a PL game is still seriously impressive. Arsenal have just collapsed. I hate to think what Wenger's interview will be like after the game.

They must have feared this scoreline though. We are capable of kicking 8 shades of shit out of teams sometimes, we chose Arsenal on this occasion.

I'll wake up in a minute and it'll be 7am on Sunday 28th August again. Unreal performance.

Yup, watched this unbelievable performance. I think Wenger needs to change things - he is too idealistic for his teams' own good.

The thing is, and Paul Merson mentioned this. Sir Alex at the start of the summer made his signings fairly early. He signed Young, Jones and De Gea either before or during the U-21 Euro's. Because he saw buying them early would get them a good pre season and it did. No offence to Villa but he's playing with a much higher quality of player here, and has not looked out of place once. Ditto Jones, and he was playing for Blackburn. De Gea looks a little more comfortable now. I don't blame him really for Walcott's goal, it wasn't a howler anyway, and he saved a penalty and made two excellent saves from Van Persie.

Now I don't completely blame Wenger for the Fabregas deal going on too long, but it is ridiculous that it did. Nobody can tell me that from the start of this Summmer nobody at Arsenal football club knew that he was leaving, because ultimately he was, and they couldn't make him stay because he'd had enough at Arsenal. And who has he really signed? Jenkinson? A young right back from Charlton is not going to improve a team. Gervinho could come good but it might have come too late even this early. Park Chu Young is similar. They need at least 4 new faces before Wednesday or they will be out of Europe by December and won't be in it next year.

I know Arsenal had a weakened side today but even had they not I wouldn't have feared them, because we were that good, and I truly believe with that formation, with that style, that we'd have won. Not as much as 8-2 because the experience would have gone up, but we'd have won. In short, when at full strengh, Arsenal are no longer a fear. They're a threat sure, but not a team I'd fear facing.

Wenger leaving now wouldn't make a bit of difference because there is literally no time for a new manager to ship players in/out. But is Wenger going to? Maybe, maybe not. Will it be the quality of player Arsenal need to get them back? probably not. They need to stop worrying about what the 'big spenders' are doing, and worry about the disgruntled fans chanting "Spend some fucking money"

3-0 at half time to us at Bolton. It's been first class football vs dirty tactics, especially from Kevin Davies, who should have been sent off.. Hernandez with a typically instinctive run in the box and finish for 1-0, then Wayne Rooney added 2 to his collection. Bolton have had the odd chance here and there but we can score at will in the second half.

5-0 full time, Hernandez and Rooney added a goal each in the second. This is how you win with style. The only sad note is the Cleverley injury thanks to that animal Davies. But everything else is accounted for.

No they're not. Here's where your trolling ends, you've done it before and it's pathetic. Do it again and you will be getting a red card. Back to Premier League talk.

Good news (In a way) Cleverley's only out for a month after suffering ankle ligament damage. Davies is still a thug though. He should be sued on the grounds of impersonating a professional footballer.
