Walcott never does enough, he runs at people yes, but his crossing is very hit and miss and his decision making at times is shocking.

Arshavin's been useless for ages, he's also fat.

:D ... Wenger needs to open his wallet... I prefer arsenal to man city and chelsea, so hope you do come back fighting... I think Arshavin and walcott let you down today. Didn't do enough.

I do too... Arshavin and Walcott are more or less hopeless most of the time. They shine brightly occasionally, but it's too few and far between.

Hopefully Wenger will splash some cash, we need more players right about now...

LoL... Downing I thought was great for us again... Really impressed with him so far. Hope he keeps it up.
Get Gerrard Suarez and Johnson back in the starting 11 and were good to go. :thumbup

Definitely do... I can't understand letting Fabragas Clichy Eboue go Denlison go on loan and not bringing anyone in. Obviously your Squad is weaker. I think Wenger is waiting till after the Champions league qualifier before he spends the cash.

Downing is good, better than I realised, I admit. He's got pace and skill and the ability to use either foot. We should have got him grrrr.

Still not made up on Charlie Adam, he's a bit like Xabi Alonso, in the way a Capri is a bit like a Mustang..

Jordan Henderson is out of his depth, clearly.

Enrique was a quality signing, one we should have made as well.. Double grrr

Agree with all of the above to be fair... Nasri is out of contact in the summer so you really got start spending like... yesterday.

Ends 2-1 to Chelsea. They plugged away and got the result and in fairness deserved to win just about but damn if West Brom didn't have some wonderful chances. The Long inaccurate ball, the Scharner header just after the equaliser, Odemwingie after the winner. Much like last week really where they have the chances and play nice football but get no reward other than plaudits, which don't equal points. The table shows them with 0 points and a -2 goal difference but I think they'll be fine because the football they play has to come good against the other sides, they've just happened to have played the top two from last season in the first two games, and Roy knows what he's doing at that sort of club.

Beat Spurs 3-0 tonight, first half was a fairly even split before our class eventually shone. Lovely cross from Cleverley and header from Welbeck for the first, Anderson added a second after a sumptuous buildup and the third was quality, Giggs crossing for Rooney to make it 3-0. Overall we deserved to win, Spurs didn't show anything really after going 1-0 down.

The forward play flows faster because Carroll's a target man. I know it sounds obvious but....

I don't know what it is about Bolton, Liverpool look very good but Bolton....damn it's a puzzle. Sometimes they can pull out results but then play crap and lose heavily. They could have been 3-0 down here already.

This new striker Arsenal have signed....they could have made a mistake.

Under the current law, all able-bodied men aged over 20 have a duty to serve in the military, with the exception of athletes who have claimed either Olympic medals or gold medals in Asian Games.

In the 2002 World Cup, the government exempted the national squad, including Park Ji-sung and Lee Young-pyo, from military service under a recommendation from the football association.
...

Among the current 23-man national team squad, 15 players including Ki Sung-yueng with Scotland side Celtic and Park Chu-young of AS Monaco, must serve in the military under the current law.

He played in the 2010 Asian Games but South Korea went out in the semi's and didn't get a medal. Watch this space.

Park Chu Young is a good, mobile and good in the air with skills. He's a bit of a complete forward who will make much better cover than Chamakh or Bendtner.

As for the law about national service, it won't be a problem I imagine. I know there's a lot of precedent for delayed national service.

I think they have to do it before 30. He'll have a bounty on his head. He apparently skipped from Lille after part 1 of his medical there. It'd be funny if they came to arrest him during a game.

I think that's proof the Hazard deal is off lol.

Any chance they had of selling him was low, but now Arsenal have stolen Young away in this manner... Well, I don't think business will be done between these two any time soon.

I could attribute the post regarding last week's Chelsea's match to this week. Norwich had a good number of chances to get something more than a 3-1 defeat but at this level you really have to take those chances, especially against a side which can and will punish you if you don't take them. Chelsea are looking easy to carve open in defence this season, they did in stages last season but this looks concerning. They haven't looked the same since Carvalho left. But they are still winning games at this time and that's more important but when they face a bigger side (like in 3 weeks) they will get punished for defensive uncertainty.

Best wishes with Drogba also at this time, looked a nasty bump he took. No blame to the keeper, he had every right to go for the ball but Drogba fell heavily and it looked as if he was out cold before he hit the ground.

If it's one team I don't mind seeing City hammer, it's Spurs. Hopefully cuntface won't talk much now, though I doubt it. Dzeko looked really good, the small matter of Manchester United vs Arsenal now.

No offence to Arsenal but if we don't beat that 11 we don't deserve to win the title this season.
