If he did spend some years there I expect him to have acquired practical knowledge
of that country better than others..and he must be putting that to effect efficiently in the greater interest of the US and world community!! Don't ya think that's good?

It's only good if his definition of "greater interest of the US and world community" matches mine. From everything I've seen, the definitions are very, very different.
