So let me see if I got this right... It's ok for people to call this guy and his followers crazy, stupid, etc for predicting the end of the world, but it's not ok to put the same "crazy" label on the rest of the religions for doing the exact same thing? Please explain this to me and what the difference is, because you should be yelling at everyone that called this guy nuts if there is no difference.

Maybe they will do the rest of us a favor and hurry and mix up some of that special KoolAid that those crazy cults like so much.

I never heard of any mainstream religion putting a date on the end of the world. This guy did and that's why people are calling him crazy. The world's going to end some day, it's just a matter of how you view it's going to happen.

So it's ok to predict the end of the world as long as you don't put an actual date on it? Really?

Every religion and cult talk about the end of the world. Whether it be in the form of a passing comet, erupting volcano, alignment of the planets, getting the mark of the beast, nuclear holocaust, etc... why are some crazy and some are not? Just because they have an actual date attached to their belief?

OK its just what I'm seeing from up here in the cheap seats but I thought his gripe was regarding Alicia being un-happy with people making broad and negative generalizations about strippers in one thread then making statements like
