Re: Only in every corner of the Earth, really...

yep - crazy religious cults only occur in the South, specifically in Texas. Solid ;)

But really, I wonder:

what's going to happen on the 13th?
how does he keep followers even having been wrong twice before about the EOW?
why do all the religious crazies seem to center around scoring easy pussy (bigamy)? Coincidence? I think not?
what makes people follow nutbags like this?

Come on now... you know damn well that most of these crazy cults can be found in Texas... :dunno

I would actually like to see some sort of statistics on where all the crazies are in the US. Do you think it's in the CIA fact book?

I will admit that there is a perfect storm of guns, racism (both forward and reverse), horny old fuckers, old school Bible thumping and new school liberalism down in God's Country (aka Texas) if you will admit that it is likely that Californy with all it's freaks and loons more than likely has the most whacked religious cults (whether they be bases Biblically or otherwise).

CA number of loons slighty > TX loony count

After I posted my previous I realized how silly it was to suggest "affairs be in order" when there won't be anyone left to give a damn. ;)

Saying we should bomb the south is just plain ignorant and is about as dumb as the labeling in the stripper thread was accused of being. This forum trips me out.

That being said the most racist state I've live in is Virginia, which is totally east coast and on the border of north and south.
Beautiful state and good law and order, but I can't live there due to the racism. I hope they have grown some more in the last 20 years or so.

The Bible states that we don't know when the 'end' will take place and we are not to be about that anyways. We are suppose to be about our Father's work, so if and when the 'end' does come, we will be spiritually awake ... we will not have run out of oil and be rushing back to the store to buy more (Bible readers will understand this). If one is all about focusing on the end times, I dare say their lantern is probably empty.

So all you people on the East Coast have gone bye-bye already, right?

So the States belong to us now? Now we have less than 2 hours to stop the "End of the World." :willy_nilly:

what can i say? it's a religion that has followers...they're just as crazy as the catholics and christians. Every one that is in any kind of religion thinks that they are in the 'right'.

I haven't read the thread past this point yet, so maybe I'm missing a J/K in there someplace, but why can you say something like this, but that poor fellow in the other thread gets his butt drop kicked for talking about strippers?

For the record, talking about strippers in general terms is bigoted, but talking about religious people in general terms is okay?

Just so I'm clear when I post later. :smiley24: :thumbdown

I have my opinion on strippers, and I have my opinion on religions. I don't see why you have to put the two together in the thread. Being a stripper isn't a religion, but if you think it is then I guess every job is a religion also? This is how I feel about all religions, they are cults there are followers that go along with them just like the man in the video. Everyone thinks he is crazy for saying that the end of the world is coming or whatever, he puts a date on it. But no one thinks those catholics or other people are crazy that are calling out armageddon...the only difference is they aren't putting a date on it.

Not kidding.

Hmmm... Just finished out the thread. Musta missed your J/K.

Good looking out Mod.

you read correctly, there is no just kidding in my post b/c I'm not and I think it's the truth. It has nothing to do with me being a mod. I didn't read anywhere in the rules where mods have to keep it shut while posting in the debate section. must have missed the memo.
