Hang on a second Allen......OSHA is overreaching government, but pepper spraying non-violent seated students isn't? Did I understand your position accurately?

I was going to ask how you would recommend they resist, if their form of resisting is "like a pussy", but I see you've already answered that:So since you admit yourself even weaker than a pussy, your opinion in this situation isn't really worth much.

This is an incredibly dangerous attitude to hold. It translates into cops can do anything they want, just take it up in court after the fact.

You fall into that school of thought that says "If you don't have anything to hide, you shouldn't mind them coming in to search your home."

My position is clear..dont resist.
However they were pussies plain and simple.
If they felt they were violated by having to move then why sit there like a puss after getting sprayed?

I dont hold the position that the cops can do anything they want..they were doing their job of tent removal and clearing a path.

However the OWS is very disorderly and rebellious ...they are shooting themselves in the foot..and will only make future protests more difficult to hold.
They need to focus a complaint...point fingers and ask for results in an orderly fashion.

I wonder if it would work as an insecticide. I know homemade distilled hot pepper juice in spray bottles will knock marauding grasshoppers (maybe they were locusts), clean off sprayed plants after their first bite.

Glad to see that they at least tried to take on a govt building..and had enough smarts to vacate as directed.

So what we have now..is a non rowdy non trouble making bunch/ that were run off without conduct being an issue...This will gather the proper sympathy they need.as there is nothing to direct attention away from the fact they were denied protest due to poor conduct.{as there was none}

They need to peacefully get the permit now...and make it publicly known if they are denied such...This will force a statement by a govt official.

The response may be lame..they then need again to make it publicly known...The govt will not respond again
They win the sympathy battle....Its a large step in the right direction..For if they are not allowing a legal protest..shows bad character on their part{govt.}..this places the govt on the "fault" list

Its basic politics..cause and policy mean nothing..its all about the nurturing instinct.....Its what elected that guy we have now for president.
