I call BS. Obesity isn't a lifestyle, it's the byproduct of the actual lifestyle. Laziness is the lifestyle.
I thinks the stressed point is "chosen."

Many diet drinks/soda no longer use Aspartame as a sweetner.
Coke and Pepsi both use Aspartame in their diet products... Actually most companies use it.. Equal, Nutrasweet and Canderel are all trade names for Aspartame...
I stick with real cane sugar... as long as I don't go crazy on the amount of calories it is good for you... all natural yumminess...
Sugar isn't bad for you, you just have to use it in moderation... and that's the problem... moderation is a dirty word to most Americans, myself included some days..![]()

I'm drinking Jones Diet Black Cherry Soda, made with Splenda
Well if anyone is at all concerned about their health, then they would never drink a diet soda again. Aspartame is some pretty bad stuff. It should have never made it to market in the first place...
Sugar only has 15 calories per teaspoon. (this can only make one wonder just exactly how many teaspoons of sugar are in soda for it to be 300 freaking calories)
well duh, do the math... 15 calories per tsp... so to get to 300 calories you would need 4,500 tsps of sugar....
:dunno pretty simple math
I wonder how they stir in that much sugar???
on a serious note... they use fructose/sucrose in soda, which is a liquid product... I wonder how many calories are in a tsp of that.... :dunno I bet it would be higher.
You sure you weren't just drinking a can(s) of beer?Exactly. And this is why I completely stopped drinking diet coke. Used to drink 6-8 cans a day. Speech started slurring, stopped, speach all better![]()
He's speech got better, but his spelling when downhill.![]()
