Obama wins again

They still pays sales tax and state tax...but pay no federal tax...many of that 47 percent...get this actually get money {EIC} they didnt pay in...so they may get back 4 or 5 thousand at the end of the year while they neighbor payed in 5 thousand...as we can see that makes them about equal wealth wise...well having money anyway.

According to this.. $8,700 is taxed at 10% for singles ?

This is FREAKING BULLSHIT! HOw the HELL can he win when romney has more votes! Its fucking bullshit! I think that is ridiculous! Yes i am ranting. The United States IS (as it already has) going to go more and more into debt! I know people arent gonna agree and thats fine. I didnt really like EITHER candidate. But I choose the less of 2 evils... (plus Ryan is cuter) But still. I dont understand the electoral vote crap. It pisses me off.

All the votes are not in and President Obama will end up winning the popular vote by 1 to 1.5%

Just because they are calling it now when President Obama is behind means nothing. They know how the votes are trending and don't forget that California isn't fully counted yet.

In Canada you make more than $10,822 you pay federal taxes.. Simple..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Income_taxes_in_Canada

You pay taxes on most things you buy..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sales_taxes_in_Canada

Where I live I pay anywhere from $4.80 to $5.20 a gallon of gas..

http://www.vancouvergasprices.com/

Average is listed at 121.224 a litre.. Easy math, multiply by 4 or 3.78541 for those who are anal to get an American gallon of gas.

I have been to the US and you guys have it good except for property taxes.. You can keep those property tax calculations for many of your cities. :p

You only get what you pay for..

Pay no taxes, get no police, Ambulance, fire, army, coast guard, infrastructure and so on and so on.. I believe some places already cut back on some of those services.

We also have another tax...the payroll tax...not what the employee gets taken out of his check...but what the employer pays in for having the employee...the govt makes about the same from this as they do from deductions from the employee.
This is money that could have went in the employees pocket.

We all want roads cops etc.
But govt spending has close to tripled since the 60s{per household} adjusted after inflation.
See we are taxed at every turn...the govt makes a rather nice haul...due to this we have no mad money..which is what actually makes the economy survive ...we will always pay rent, electric, gas water, gasoline etc...but that doesnt keep the economy going.
Its having extra to buy junk with that gives someone a job outside of the necessities.

It's happened 4 times that Presidents have won without the popular vote majority..

Presidents that lost by votes but still got elected..
John Quincy Adams who lost by 44,804 votes to Andrew Jackson in 1824
Rutherford B. Hayes who lost by 264,292 votes to Samuel J. Tilden in 1876
Benjamin Harrison who lost by 95,713 votes to Grover Cleveland in 1888
George W. Bush who lost by 543,816 votes to Al Gore in the 2000 election.

We have a rather complicated tax system in 2011 we spent 6.1 trillion.

http://www.usgovernmentspending.com/total_2011USrt_13rs5n

We have about 140 million tax payers.

That comes out to 43,571 dollars per tax payer.

The average income is in the low 50k range

We tax everything...and every time it switches hands...thus the govt makes a fortune from us
