I thought Carwin looked terrible to be honest, the guy is not that great a fighter, just has power, there are a lot of guys I'd pick over him, Gabe in a rematch being one of them, terrible striking defense, overrated wrestling, no ground game, I'm very disappointed in him.

He has a great chin, good wrestling, and Un-real power in his strike

But Lesnar, Kongo or Courure would have their way with him

I think he'd beat Mir or Nog

he'll beat Nog at this point, but not Mir, imo.

I don't think Mir has the power to put him down, and Carwin's GNP maybe the best we've ever seen. And he can taker Mir down.

If the fucker would fight for more than 3 minutes we might know about his sub defense, but he did scramble with GG

I was impressed at how he kept his composure after getting hurt but that's about it, guy has a long ways to go if he wants to be a legitimate title threat.

I think the key to beating him is to able to take him down and maintaing control, GG doesn't have that, Lesnar and Randy can

The other way is to be able to stand back and pick him apart and use foot work to stay out of the way. Kongo can do that, but Kongo needs to worry about TDs big time

Kongo has hugely improved on his wrestling and I think Carwin's is overrated, I think he'd have a hard time getting Kongo down.

Me too, but his fight against Morrero, Carwin is much better than Morrero

I wonder who Carwin will fight next? Maybe Nog

Could be, HW is a little fucked up right now.

OH, and Vera finally looked like his Hype

he looked good against a tomato can grappler who decided to strike with a striker, but he's done nothing towards proving that he's still a threat to the top guys.

His strikes looked super smooth and super fast to me, he needs to show he can maintain KO power at 205, which he hasn't.

he needs to step up in competition, if he can look the way he did tonight against a real fighter then I'll be impressed.

EDIT: and by real fighter I mean UFC caliber figher, I"m sure that guy has very legitimate skills, just not good enough to belong in the UFC.

lol, only Yves would stop a fight and then restart it, that should go down as two seperate wins for Brown, me and my buddy was in tears laughing when we saw that, nuttiest thing I've ever seen.

That maybe the worst fuck up of a rep ever!!

Oh yes, Jardine VS Jackson was a good fight. Page vs Rashad should be interesting, but Quinton showed he needs to open up his game a bit
