I disagree, I think for at least the first round Dan would have no problems taking Bisping down and keeping him there, rounds 2 and 3? Probably not.

that's what I mean, he spends all his energy in the 1st taking him down and keeping him there and after that it's all Bisping, Dan has to finish early.

Yeah, it's no gimme for either fighter, and I do think Dan is capable of finishing him early but Bisping has the advantage deeper the water gets

Bisping is like a cockroach though, he's proven exceedingly difficult to put away, Sinosic, Schafer, Hamill, and McCarthy have all had him in some really bad spots and still failed to get the job done, Granted Hendo is a better fighter than all of them but still Bisping is a survivor, imo the decks are really stacked against Hendo in this one.

I am just not sold on Bisping quite yet, he does look allot better at 185

lol, it's the exact opposite with me, the first time I layed eyes on Bisping I saw a Future Champ, course he was at 205 then and it was before Anderson came around, but I still see it in him, Anderson is obvously the favorite but I think Bisping could find a way to beat him, Henderson is an absolute beast at 205 but more of a gatekeeper at 185, definitely not Counting Hendo out, that would be idiotic, but I'm favoring Bisping to win a decision.

And I have always looked at Bisping as a gate keeper. However, he does help make the division get a few more interesting possible match ups. At 185 I would like to see him fight Hendo, Ace, Marquardt, Maia, and Silva.

all hard matchups for sure, I can see him beating them though, Maia is one dimensional and probably can't take Bisping down, if he did it would be all over but I think his lack of striking and wrestling would fuck him over.

Franklin is a good striker and has good power but he doesn't have the greatest chin and is much slower, Bisping is also very good in the clinch which is where Franklin has been destroyed twice now by Anderson, I think Bisping gets the KO/TKO at some point in the fight.

Anderson's striking is most likely too good for Bisping but I think Mike is the better wrestler of the 2 and is very hard to submit, he can win if he takes him down and GNP's or LNP's to a decision, still a very dangerous fight wherever it is but on the ground Mike might be able to pull it off.

out of all of them I see Marquardt as the worst matchup for him, he is just so well rounded, great wrestling, great ground game, greatly improved striking, Nate is a nightmare for him, I don't know what Bisping could do with him.

Nate is one of those guys will never get his deserved respect till he gets a belt, and may never get that belt. Maybe the most overlooked fighters considering his talent. He should have won that decision against Leites IMO.

for sure, Nate is #2 in the division imo, I think he'd beat Anderson in a rematch, and would beat Henderson Too, I think Nate rules the division after Anderson is gone, he's about the only guy I can't see Bisping beating, Nate is a monster, I don't know why he doesn't get respect, even after the beating he put on Gouveia yesterday I see people saying things like "Gouveia was just gassed", and "Gouveia is a can", some people just can't win, look at the hate Sylvia gets.

Exactly, if you are a MW and not named Hendo, Ace , or Silva you don't get any respect. Hell, look at Rashad, he has the belt and has yet to lose (should have lost to Tito though) and he's been doing unreal. He doesn't get any respect either.

*shrugs*

Thank God the SD crowd does not make any important MMA decisions

yeah, I hate Rashad but I can give him the respect he deserves, Bisping, Chuck, Forrest one right after another is very impressive, I do think that Rampage or Machida would tear him up but I wouldn't count him out completely at all, he made the same mistake a lot of wrestlers make against Forrest, they get a big KO and suddenly they think they're a kickboxer, he didn't look too great against forrest but I chalk that up more to poor gameplanning than not being good, he should stick with what he's good at and it's not striking.

Rashad is definitely one of those guys that his stand up opens up a bit more cause guys are watching for the TD. He's got the power too. I think Machida and Quinton would beat him, but no one on the top of 205 right now has a safe secure spot. LHW is just nuts right now.

he does have big power but he can't just bank on landing the KO shot every time, he needs to stick with his wrestling, the same thing happened with Koscheck , he scores a couple big finishes and he started to think he was a striker and it got him KTFO, the same thing will happen to Rashad if he keeps up like he has, the only reason it hasn't happened to Hendo yet is because of his chin, but as we've seen with Nog and Hunt eventually that Iron chin WILL go out on him.

watching Karo Vs Diaz on UFC unleashed right now, it's kind of sad what's happened with Karo, think he'll ever get back to his old self?
