Re: McCain Suggests Physical Force to Prevent Ahmadinejad From Visiting World Trade C
It really isn't.
It really isn't.
I don't think the troops are terrorists (unless they take part in terrorism), the policies this administration uses in the Iraq war is, and how they carried it out.Considering I'm married to a man who spent a year of his life there, yes it is. You are equating him with people (if you can call him that) that indiscriminately kill inocent people.
That still doesn't mean that I'm calling the majority of the troops terrorists, except some of them do take part in terrorizing people. I have family members in the service why would I label all of them so flippantly? Thats because I'm not.The troops are doing the majority of the work. Those high ranking commanders are on the front lines.
The majority of the policies I'm talking about have to do with how the Iraqi government is being established and maybe some orders that are given to higher ranking commanders. I don't think the average grunt is some baby killer.
Maybe you need to read my posts again. I think you are misreading me.Thats nice to know! Maybe one day you can thank one of these average "grunts" for putting his life on the line in wars he may not even agree with so that you have the freedom of speech to sit cozily behind a computer being contemptable toward him.

The majority of the higher ranking commanders are not in the trenches.
The majority of the troops are unwitting players in this international game of war, a lot of whom do not even agree with this war. When I said "I think the Iraq war is terrorism" I mean that in a wider sense. I think the people in charge of this whole operation are the terrorists. The average jarhead doesn't have much sway to not follow orders. Again, I don't think the majority are taking par tin terrorist acts, at all.I added the n't, I know they're not on the front lines.
Maybe you should better express yourself. By calling something that our troops are taking part in an act of terrorist, you are calling them terrorists.
Then don't call the war a terrorist act, call the leaders terrorists if you must. And don't start with calling them jarheads. Even I'm not allowed to call them that, and I'm married to (a former) one.
Thats what I'm doing. There are SOME troops that took part in terror though, its been on the news.
Jarhead is a term of endearment for marines. My grandfather let me call him that all the time.
Grunt is a widely used term for troops....hell the official military channel (which is run by the US military) uses it in some of their programs. The same goes for terms like "leatherneck".Is average grunt a term of indearment too? Maybe you should stop throwing flippant and contemptable insults around if you want us to take you seriously, would have loved to see what happened to you if you have called two of my cousins "average grunts" to their face!

I come from a military family and I love military history and warfare. I've been doing some study on it for a few years now.How much do you know about the military, AEF? Just wondering.
You guys are going to be surprised on my stance for Aknad-i-jihad and Ground Zero, though. I think he should be allowed to lay a wreath.
*dons flame retardant firesuit*
It's about Healing. Even though we think he's certifiable, I think his intentions may be well-grounded. Say W wanted to lay a wreath at a memorial in rural Iraq where that 14 year-old girl was raped and her unarmed family were murdered in cold blood by US Military personnel. Documented case with convictions on American soil.
Should Georgie be allowed to do that as a show of Healing? If you think so, then Iranian President Mock-mood Ahmad-i-jihad-istan should be afforded the same.
No, never said that.Grace, you think supporting terrorist organizations are just past mistakes by the US?
