I don't think the troops are terrorists (unless they take part in terrorism), the policies this administration uses in the Iraq war is, and how they carried it out.

The majority of the policies I'm talking about have to do with how the Iraqi government is being established and maybe some orders that are given to higher ranking commanders. I don't think the average grunt is some baby killer.

That still doesn't mean that I'm calling the majority of the troops terrorists, except some of them do take part in terrorizing people. I have family members in the service why would I label all of them so flippantly? Thats because I'm not.

The majority of the troops are unwitting players in this international game of war, a lot of whom do not even agree with this war. When I said "I think the Iraq war is terrorism" I mean that in a wider sense. I think the people in charge of this whole operation are the terrorists. The average jarhead doesn't have much sway to not follow orders. Again, I don't think the majority are taking par tin terrorist acts, at all.

The terms you used made it sound like everyone invovled are terrorists and not just a few.

The only people I've ever heard used the term jarhead and get away with it has been Marines. I'm pretty sure my great grandfather, grandfather, dad, uncle, great uncle (who happened to be a drill instructor), cousin, husband, and Lord knows how many other Marines I know/am related to would rather not have me call them that.

Grunt is a widely used term for troops....hell the official military channel (which is run by the US military) uses it in some of their programs. The same goes for terms like "leatherneck".

Say W wanted to lay a wreath at a memorial in rural Iraq where that 14 year-old girl was raped and her unarmed family were murdered in cold blood by US Military personnel. Documented case with convictions on American soil.

I come from a military family and I love military history and warfare. I've been doing some study on it for a few years now.
