well I am voting for McCain/Palin. This country needs reform and McCain will do what is necessary to put America back on the right track. I think Sarah Palin is totally awesome.
McCain and Palin as reformers? You've got to be kidding.
Lack of honor? You've got to be kidding me.
How about avoiding the knee jerk reaction and read the entire sentence.
All the McCain campaign and Republican party can say is "Obama reneged on his promise to go with public financing". Yes, Obama said he wanted to use public financing, but according to this article, when the Obama camp met with the McCain camp, there was no interest on the McCain side for a mutual agreement.
If I am the Democratic nominee, I will aggressively pursue an agreement with the Republican nominee to preserve a publicly financed general election."
Not so "aggressively," according to the McCain campaign, which argues that Obama did not discuss this or try to negotiate at all with the McCain campaign, despite writing that he would "aggressively pursue an agreement with the Republican nominee to preserve a publicly financed general election."
The Obama campaign disputes this. Obama campaign counsel Bob Bauer met with McCain campaign counsel Trevor Potter and, according to Obama spox Bill Burton, Potter "immediately made it clear there was no basis for further discussion," that they weren't interested in any sort of agreement. "McCain and the RNC had spent months raising and spending money for the general election, and their basic attitude was 'You'll catch up,'" Burton says, suggesting that the Republicans were also turning a blind eye to the activities of 527s.
And now they are calling Obama a socialist. If you want to look at the largest socialistic program ever, the 700 billion dollar bailout, both Obama and McCain supported it. Hmmm. And does anyone think Buffet would support Obama if he thought he was a socialist? The Republicans are desperate and such BIG LIERS.
"If you say it, the morons will believe!!"
