Yes, this is the P&D section, and is an "Enter at Your Own Risk" section, however, that does not mean that it is a free for all to attack a member. Regardless of the section of the board, we still expect you to treat each other respectfully.

While I do think Maz is a waste of bandwidth, I also think members are taking advantage of the LAX rules...

I don't know what these LAX rules contain.....but if it means that calling out people to fight is ok...then I think they suck. I'm all for freedom of speech but somehow I get the feeling I'm walking into an old western movie and the sun is about to go down...lol Please people....I'm not a fan of some of the rules either but just because we're given a little freedom doesn't mean we can't appreciate it enough to actually use it to our advantage....you know, like adults usually do?

And would you qualify this thread as an attack? I sure would not. The only thing that has been attacked are his positions, his ability to support his claims with facts, and his continual use of random quotes instead of actual replies to questions and comments.

What retro said wasn't an attack at all. It was simply FACT. Peter was just being funny. In any case, the picture he posted is still relevant to the SERIOUS problems in Mazs' culture. Which he refuses to see. Everyone else on this forum is able to acknowledge flaws in their own cultures, but he is the only one that wants to dish out all the problem in everyone else's countries and can't take it when someone turns an argument on him.

It's not even your argument. You and Sadie are getting butthurt over someone else's fight. Like I said, time and again, Maz brings this upon himself. You all fail to notice when he attacks, but you take plenty of care to realize when everyone else retaliates.

Perhaps you'd feel differently if the thread was about you. That's the kind of precedent we're setting here by encouraging this kind of thing. Can't you see that?
