Portsmouth 1-4 Manchester United.

Good return to form on a ground which hasn't always been kind to us. Got the lead through a penalty when Brown tripped Rooney, Rooney duly dispatched it. They equalised through a penalty of their own which was a very harshaward as there was never a pull by Vidic. Retook the lead just after half time thanks to Rooney, and the same man completed his hat trick just shy of the hour after Giggs was tripped. Giggs then got his 100th league goal for us after a good free kick.

Not as close as 4-1 seeems, they had their chances and on another day would have got more.

Manchester United 2-0 Tottenham Hotspur.

Through to the semi finals of the Carling Cup with a pleasing 2-0 win, they were the better team in the first half but we ended it 2-0 up, brilliant. Moral of the story of course is take your chances, which we did and they didn't. Two fabulous finishes by Gibson.

Pleasing aspects tonight were the fact that Anderson and Gibson clicked, he defense looked stable and Berbatov was on form up front.

West Ham 0-4 Manchester United

Wak in the park mainly, really poor first half where neither time really shone, but Paul Scholes' beauty just shy of half time was the tip of the iceberg and we came out in the second half and played really well. Gibson scored another beauty, before Valencia and Rooney added the final two.

I think West Ham could be in trouble. I mean with Carlton Cole injured they just didn't have anything going forward, I mean we had two midfielders in the back 4 for most of the match and they looked as comfortable as can be.

Diamanti and Franco were threatening in spells and Hines was really getting at your defense in the first half. Other than that though, we were really poor, it wasn't like Man Utd were that good either and they really need some returns from injuries for when they play some better teams. You've just got a much better and bigger squad than us. The fact that we had a half fit Dyer and Nouble sitting on our bench while you had Owen and Berbatov sitting on yours speaks volumes. We've just got to hope Cole is back soon and we dont sell anyone major in the trasnsfer window.

Wolfsburg 1-3 Manchester United

Good away performance in the Champions League, irony being we have played better away in the Champions league this year than at home. Michael Owen hit a hat trick with 3 well taken goals.

Wolfsburg are out atm, but may be back in if UEFA find CSKA guilty of drug taking immediately prior to the game we played against them in early November.

Manchester United 0-1 Aston Villa

No, really. Poor performance today...especially when crossing. The passing was off. They got the lead from Agbonlahor in the first half and while we had chances we just didn't ever look like scoring. Fair play to them, they came and at least tried to attack us and it worked. The only good thing is Chelsea failed to win so we're not that far behind (beat Wolves Tuesday and we'll be back top...for 24 hours)

Manchester United 3-0 Wolves

Back to form with a customary win at home. Got the lead on the half hour through a Wayne Rooney penalty, second from Vidic prior to half time. Berbatov then laid on a beauty of a flick to Valencia for the thrd and that was that. Back level on points with Chelsea for 24 hours at least.

I couldn't believe that. I mean he's weakened his side against us because it's a game he feels they can't win, and they play Burnley Sunday and he'll bring the first teamers back. It'd be funny if they lost on Sunday.

Also before you start, bear in mind we beat their first team with our kids in the League Cup back in September ;)

Fulham 3-0 Manchester United.

Almost as bad as watching re-runs of old TV programs on Christmas day, awful awful performance. Nobody played well, everyone played poorly. Now at the moment we have a few players out defensivley but we've been coping with that for a little while, today we got found out. We need defenders back and quickly.

Would have been all 3 points for West Ham too if the ref wasn't a Chelsea supporting cunt.

It should have been. I mean Chelsea were poor today, their penalty shouldn't have been (although they should have had one in the first half) but then West Ham should have had another one when Carvalho shoved a player in the back.
