Pleasing win once again, we had to be good tonight as this was tricky opposition. Good end to end game, they came at us well. They took the lead before Ryan Giggs scored from a deflected free kick before Michael Carrick finished off a smart move with a slide rule shot into the top corner.

Manchester United 2-2 Sunderland at Old Trafford.

The worst performance I have ever seen in my life in the first half, not one pass found its target, we didnt have a shot, the wingers were awful, Scholes was poor, really poor.

Second half was better, got the goal through a sublime overhead kick from Berbatov (our only good player today)

Then they retook the elad through Kenwyne Jones, beat Foster to a cross.

Got the equaliser in stoppage time from an Anton Ferdinand own goal.

So yeah, we play absolutely shit yet get a point. I love being a United fan at times.

If a game was done in the style of boxing, the referee would have stopped this game by half time, 2-0 up, chance after chance and coasting. Knight with an own goal and Valencia scoring.

Second half was pretty much the same,until the 75th minute. Matt Taylor heading in and from then on Bolton pressurised us and on another day may have got a point. As it was we held on to go back to the top of the Table.

CSKA Moscow 0-1 manchester United, good win tonight on a difficult surface. Left it late and goal the goal from Antonio Valencia. Would have taken a draw at the start so to get a win is great.

Well it had to happen. We never got a grip on the midfield today and were not good enough in front of goal. They were better, but not that great themselves. In truth neither team was that great but Liverpool just did enough.

Barnsley 0-2 Man United.

Professional, tidy performance tonight. Important to get the form back after Sunday's setback. Welbeck with an early goal, fairly simple header from a corner. Owen scored the second on the hour, ran into the area and curled it into the corner. In the end Barnsley had more chances than us, but only 1 or 2 on target. That was the difference at the end of the day.

Manchester United 2-0 Blackburn

Important league win this, and for most of the game we dominated without scoring, very wasteful in front of goaL. The goals eventually came through Berbatov and Rooney, two clinical finishes. Deserved win really, and back to within 2 points of Chelsea before next Sundays showdown.

Manchester United 3-3 CSKA Moscow

Qualification secured thanks to a shaky defensive performance and a great attacking one. They scored first, Michael Owen got the equaliser, then they hiot us with the double whammy either side of half time, got a goal back from Scholes 8 minutes from the end, and equalised in stoppage time thanks to Antonio Valencia with a deflected effort. Should have had a penalty in the second half too, wasn't to be.

Chelsea 1-0 Man United.

Pretty disappointed to lose, felt we were the better team today, problems lay going forward in that we were sloppy in front of goal and the build up at times was indecisive.

The pleasing parts today were the midfield in general, worked very hard.

Probably should have had a penalty in the first half, but that happens.

Manchester United 3-0 Everton. Very impressive display tonight. Dominated the first half and got a deserved lead ten minutes before the end of it thanks to a Darren Fletcher volley. They changed formation and shape at the start of the second half and for a time they could have got back into it, but a Michael Carrick strike saw that potential never turned into a goal. The third was a deflected effort from Valencia but certainly a deserved victory. Great to get back to winning ways and hopefully its the start of a run.

Manchester United 0-1 Besiktas.

It's not so much losing that bothers me, it's the fact that now we have work to do in the final group game whereas if we had drew or even won we'd have won the group, thus probably getting an easier draw in the next round. Passing was off tonight, Macheda was poor tonight, as was Gibson and Anderson in the middle, just never clicked.

Ah well, makes it interesting.
