I half watched half of a movie last night, it had Nicholas Cage in it, but I was too tired/lazy to watch it properly.

Nicholas Cage has no standards, that guy will be in ANY movie. Smh.
We saw Snow White and the Huntsman, a very nicely choreographed movie with nice visuals. However if there is a weak point, I'd say it is Kristen Stewart who imo was kind of a limp noodle. I found the climax to be underwhelming. The elves were great including Ian McShane who they magically shrunk down...

The movie is technically competent, but when I get the feeling the story is preordained on rails, what could be tension evaporates into hohumm. Oh, oh, look out Tom, don't fall!! At least they only got $2.99 out of me.
And since the Hurt Locker which I liked, I have not liked Jeremy Renner in this or in Avengers.
