If Pakistani women had any interest in Western culture they would be blue eyed by now!! But since this is not so and they still protest againt Western laws against Burqa it proves you culture is not acceptable to a section of women and surely could be vice versa. You don't have to fluster and frustrate at that because women all over the world know well how to protect their rights.

There are times when a burqa should not be worn...this woukd be the same as me getting my drivers license renewed while wearing a ski mask..I would be asked to remove it...same can be said for going in a bank..going to court ,cashing a check etc.
A burqa is a mask..no more no less there are laws in place where wearing a mask is prohibited..a burqa should be no exception.
Besides our women here don't wear a burqa...so why do the women in pk care?

Burqa is NOT a mask but you may call it a veil.....that's the right word for it.
Many women believe it is incumbent upon them to veil or wear a burqa or something like that ,,,something like Nuns wear (wonder if they are allowed or not to visit banks in their 'nunnerous' costume or are treated as untouchables in your society??) by dint of their religion. Banning burqa means you are interfering and suppressing religious liberties of women?
What do you say about Sikhs who wear turbans on duty??

Some States require MC helmets, some don't. It's a safety issue. Where I live there are no helmet laws but I don't remember seeing any Muslim women in burkas or veils riding motorcycles, so it's a moot point in Ohio either way.
