God I hope Prop 19 passes... I could've really used some pot for this damn tooth pain

i think it's annoying that people who are against it are worried that everybody is going to start abusing it for the sole fact that its legal.
Its no different than having a cigarette or a drink (except less deadly) and I wish people would understand that.
On that note, voting with old people sucks lol

you mean to tell me you would otherwise refrain?

I think its because he holds down a job, something a lot of us CA dont have (lol) in that case I wouldnt risk it either, but once its legal you cannot be punished for having traces of it in your system

It's the fact that it would be more readily available. I don't have any contacts here since my friend quit a year and a half ago in order to get into the LVN program. He has to stay clean now too because of random drug screenings for nurses. Nobody he got his from is around anymore either.

I'm not really a pot smoker... I've had it a few times in my life and that's it. I've been trying to get a medical marijuana card because of my chronic headaches, but no doctor in the bible belt of California gives them out.

Where is California's Bible Belt?

The benefit of pot over beer is that is alters your reality just a bit versus slurring reality towards oblivion (drunkenness). A friend was mesmerized by Gene Kelly movie where they broke into dance. It was incredible or so I have been told. :p

That's not a big concern for me, we don't have drug tests at my job. But it's still something to be careful about.

You still could be held accountable depending upon the job

If you had a commercial drivers license test positive and it would be gone. There is zero tolerance. I don't agree with it but tis a fact which I don't Prop 19 being able to supercede

Just got done voting. Wanted to beat the rush. Actually voted for a couple of Libertarians. Go White for Gov! (Texas). :) Planning on disappointment. :(

I assume there are other red pockets around.

Regarding Mary Jane, that applies to my job as well. I won't be able to indulge until after retirement.
