You can not name some peaceful majority Muslim nations {90 percent plus}
Me asking such does not make me a bigot...its only a request.
Granted there are peaceful Muslims ...but there are no nations that are Muslim majority that are peaceful
Its not the people that are the problem...its the teaching they receive...the imprisonment .
You can not simply say I give up Islam..that requires an execution..........Again hardly a religion of peace.
My statements are not bigoted...I have no problem with the people its the structure of the religion...many of these people are trapped..thus why some come to the United states as to escape Islam..for to escape it in the homeland is death ..wife beating is legal...children are sold etc..its rather stone age to be honest

The Doc is living as he was taught...just as you are living what you are taught..I disagree alot with what the doc says as well..but he does have admirable qualities to go with it..he is proud of his heritage etc...and does have instilled values although we may not agree with them.

Doc was merely taught homosexuality is very bad...due to his religion..so you red rep him because he follows his faith?
So essentially you are red repping him because of his belief in his religion..but then think he is the bigot?

So every single one of those countries is filled with violence and chaos, and yet there are no travel warnings which would indicate that for any of those countries. Your opinion isn't based on fact, just on blind hatred.

In fact, the murder rate in the US is more than every single one of those countries.

Islam is designed with one thing in mind the protection of Islam...which was good at one time..during wars of early years.
At those times...in order to survive you have to have large powerful forces or be conquered...Other religions did the same.
The early wars...were very bad as one was killed merely because of his religion.
Much like the silliness of our civil war between the north and south...killing just because which way the compass pointed.
Most nation after the very early wars centuries ago adapted their religions after the smoke settled.
Islam however still worships the leader through the laden years of war....Thats where they stop rather than continue in time....time for some new chapters to end the violence

Islam goes as follows........Lets say you steal a loaf of bread from another Muslim....the punishment is severe..lashings to amputations.

I think I'll take the stance that through history, man in general has been one pretty damn violent creature.
And this includes those that have alluded to being Christian, also.
From the Christians of the Crusades to the atheists of Communism to the Islamicists of today to just about every organized large and sometimes even small societies have shown incredible cruelty.....some merely more than others at different times through out history.

Mankind has probably demonstrated cruelty of some degree from about every point in the religious/political spectrum.

What I care about in a President is that he views the welfare of our nation above any of his own self interests and that includes his personal religion.

I don't like the politician, Obama, but in regards to this thread, the issue should be.... do his religious beliefs negatively affect our nation.
