New York state compromises around 55,000 square miles and has a total population around 19.5 million people. New York City covers around 465 square miles and has a population over 8 million. Look were NYC is at in relationship to the state.
What NYC says, goes when it comes to NY.
One reason why if New York City were to vanish into the Atlantic ocean, everyone but those money suckers in Albany would be dancing in the streets

Anyone who says Jersey smells has not been to the right parts of Jersey... and could quite possibly just be catching a scent from Philadelphia.

Just got home from my Jersey Shore night at a friend's house. MTV has all these "Congrats, Snooki" promos now. Apparently they're doing a big TV interview w/ her about it next week before the finale.

Personally, you run the odds of catching a whiff anywhere in that tri state area.
Got to admit though, Camden and Newark do give Jersey the edge out of the three
