the look of hate when he hits her, he looks pissed, still doesn't give him the right to do so...

Who gives anyone the right to hit someone else if they're pissed?

Sad thing about this whole thread, and I'm guilty as well, is the fact that this topic is about some woman whose skill is portraying a numbnutz bimbo. In my defense, I've tried to derail the thread as much as possible LOL

You should have enough management over your anger and enough brains to refrain from physical violence to avoid hitting anyone, be it a man OR woman.

That said, if a woman means you harm, I always kind of find it funny with guys who have this chivalry code about not hitting women.

I take it if a woman grabs a gun and shoots up a place looking to kill people and you happen to have a gun, you wouldn't shoot her because the subject is a girl? LOL

Watching that clip of Snooki meeting the closed hand was actually kind of funny. I never watch the show, but looking at that clip, if ANYONE (be it a man or woman) is STUPID enough to get into someones face like in ANY situation doesn't realize that they could be setting themselves up, well, shame on them. Personally what I saw was a stupid person getting exactly what could come to them. Lucky for her his closed hand took an angle across her face. Could of been much worse for her. I feel SO sorry for Snooki.

Well, that is a change of subject. A woman trying to do physical harm utilizing a weapon....sure, you can do what you want. If she is charging you with a knife and means to stick it in your gut, deck her if you want. But that wasnt the scenario in this situation at all. She was mouthing off and being a bitch. That is no justification to hit a female. Get one of your female friends to kick her ass in this situation. :p

Honestly, I think if a woman hits like a man she needs to be prepared to get hit like a man. It's not right for a man to hit a woman...and it's not right for a woman to hit a man. Self defense, though, is a whole 'nother story.

You go to a bar where people are drinking, and you decide to put your finger in someone else's chest and "give em a piece of your mind", better be prepared.

Not saying it's right or wrong, just another night at a bar where people get drunk and things can get out of hand.

Hopefully Mrs. Snookie has learned her lesson and won't do it again;)

Watching that video actually makes me want to tell the guy to hit her harder LOL

I'm not stupid enough to put my finger in someone's face at the bar. I like my job and prefer to keep it. I agree that she was an idiot...and if it had been another female involved we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

Meh. I have had a drunk woman poke their fingers into my chest before. Heck, I have had women hit me before. I had one throw a solid glass ashtray at my head before, among some other stories of crazy women in my life. The most I have done in return since I was 12 and clocked my older sister for hitting me in the face with a shoe, is deflect a blow that was being directed at me, or maybe laugh. There just is no need to hit a woman.

But, I guess I reserve the right if say...this 'woman' threw a punch at me.

Other than that, meh.....no need.

It's not that I wouldn't care about my job if I put my finger in someones face, it's what I'd be worried they'd do next.

If Snookie has learned her lesson, perhaps we should thank the guy for playing teacher:D

I always assume that's a given...but that probably has to do w/ my job and what I see happen everyday. You never know who is carrying a gun or a knife (and in the South we all know that most guys carry a pocketknife). I'm very careful about going out b/c of my job...I've had friends lose their jobs (w/ other local agencies) simply b/c they showed their ass and someone happened to know where they worked.

Well now THAT'S just wrong. Any woman should be able to show her ass if she wants. :banana2:

LMFAO...most of them were guys. All it takes is one little whisper of "hey, you KNOW he's a police officer, right?" and then someone calls the Chief and it goes from there. Shame, too...most of them were good officers.

Well, guys have a right to show their ass too I guess. I know I have done it on more than one occasion. ;)

I wouldn't enjoy seeing it though, but I wouldn't lodge a complaint either. But I guess some would, just to be a jerk. Fair point on having to be in 'extra' control though because of a job. I guess you just have to go on vacation to someplace where no one knows your name to...let your hair down then. :D

I became VERY cautious after I made rank. I stopped going out w/ co-workers almost completely (except for V, b/c she's my bestfriend and that doesn't change just b/c you get promoted) or, if I did go out w/ them I made sure I was DD. I'm not the type to show my ass anyway (although I *have* been known to get nekkid when intoxicated, LOL).
