Economic situation?
I'm not in an office all day with a frige and a microwave. My office is my truck.

I'm not putting words in your mouthYou know full well that i meant They would die very early in their lives in order to provide food. Interesting how you put words in my mouth.
so that means you can't make yourself a lunch?I'm not in an office all day with a frige and a microwave. My office is my truck.

I'm using your logic.
I don't see how you could be so blind to suffering to living things, but if that floats your boat...You're not using my logic. you're using the logic that would provide you with the best counter-argument. My logic was that if an animal is being raised with the sole purpose of being made into food, and at a very early point in its life, then it shouldn't matter how it's treated before hand. Not that all animals should be treated badly just because they are destined to die.
I don't see how you could be so blind to suffering to living things, but if that floats your boat...
If Labrador retrievers were decided to be delicious, and they were raised to be a food source in America, would you be saying the same thing?

Doesn't really matter to me if they're cute or not. If it's food, and it's good, I'll eat it, and won't worry about how they were treated.
We are supposedly at the top of the food chain, albeit, we refuse to act as such sometimes, I am not okay with being cruel to animals but if most of the folks on here saw how the typical beef slaughterhouse operated they would never eat a steak again either.
I love animals, they taste good. The only difference is most of us see the finished product, not the process that get's it there.
:24: Dummy! There's no animals harmed in the making of a McDonald's burger! :24:So you don't mind that a animal that can feel pain, and experience terror lives that everyday, just so you can have a cheap .99 cent burger at McDonalds?
So you don't mind that a animal that can feel pain, and experience terror lives that everyday, just so you can have a cheap .99 cent burger at McDonalds? No though goes through your mind that maybe, just maybe it might be a little wrong, ethically, to treat other living things like garbage just for our consumption?
Humans are bit tad more intelligent than a lion, do you think?Have you ever seen a lion attack a gazelle?
You ever thought the lion should be ashamed of itself?
Me neither

How you go about it and the processes involved for a much more intelligent being, are though. The instinct to eat isn't a matter of intellect
Joke buddy, joke. Implying that McDonald's burgers aren't made of real meat.Watch the video at the beginning of the thread?
