You know full well that i meant They would die very early in their lives in order to provide food. Interesting how you put words in my mouth.
I'm not putting words in your mouth

I'm using your logic.

I'm not in an office all day with a frige and a microwave. My office is my truck.
so that means you can't make yourself a lunch?

You're not using my logic. you're using the logic that would provide you with the best counter-argument. My logic was that if an animal is being raised with the sole purpose of being made into food, and at a very early point in its life, then it shouldn't matter how it's treated before hand. Not that all animals should be treated badly just because they are destined to die.

I don't see how you could be so blind to suffering to living things, but if that floats your boat...

If Labrador retrievers were decided to be delicious, and they were raised to be a food source in America, would you be saying the same thing?

Pretty much, if they were killed early in their lives instead of having to suffer for a long time.

Dogs are a delicacy in Korea, they're killed for food.

I don't have any problems with it.

I know that, I was just checking if he feels the same way about animals that are seen as "cute". A lot of people wouldn't be for it, I think.

Doesn't really matter to me if they're cute or not. If it's food, and it's good, I'll eat it, and won't worry about how they were treated.

We are supposedly at the top of the food chain, albeit, we refuse to act as such sometimes, I am not okay with being cruel to animals but if most of the folks on here saw how the typical beef slaughterhouse operated they would never eat a steak again either.

I love animals, they taste good. The only difference is most of us see the finished product, not the process that get's it there.

So you don't mind that a animal that can feel pain, and experience terror and lives that everyday, just so you can have a cheap .99 cent burger at McDonalds? No thought goes through your mind that maybe, just maybe it might be a little wrong, ethically, to treat other living things like garbage just for our consumption?

Have you ever seen a lion attack a gazelle?

You ever thought the lion should be ashamed of itself?

Me neither

How you go about it and the processes involved for a much more intelligent being, are though.

Not really, heres what I do.

"Mind says...We are hungry"

I say "Hmmmm Let's eat"

Mind says "Okay"

That's it. I do not follow it up with, "How do I feel about this"

I eat, that's how I do it.

If your a vegetarian, are you aware that veggies are ripped from thier roots, and shredded for your pleasure?
