I personally think it's awesome that the police have nothing better to do

If he had any brains he would go about having the law changed by way of the democratic process that you seem to be so fond of yet fail to understand.

You seriously make my head fucking hurt. Please pay the fuck attention... I've said this too many times to count. He already talked to his representative and lawyers were involved. I seriously do NOT understand why you've chosen not to read that, or just ignore it. God, I swear....

- he's spoiled it for his kids because he didn't erect the fucking thing on his own driveway. Kind of selfish that he didn't want to give up parking access on his own land for the sake of his kids. I suppose that's a topic for another thread so I'll leave it at that.

Again, you're showing that you haven't paid attention at all... he didn't set it up. It was setup at the house before he bought it, apparently it's been there for 60 years.

When lawyers are involved, it generally creates an injunction preventing any action from being taken. Again, that's something that I've said already as well. That was the understanding this guy was under as well, if you watched the second video that I posted. That's what his representative's office has stated as well.

Please pay attention to the entire thread would 'ya? It's getting really old having to explain things for the 4th and 5th times.

If you believe that you are a hell of a lot more gullible that even I imagined. Look at 1:02 of the video and pay very close attention to the backboard or whatever you call the bloody thing. Then come back and tell me it's sixty years old. There's other indicators as far as it's construction but we don't need to get into that.

Now back to the main point. It doesn't matter who put it up or when it was erected. The fucker knew full well it wasn't legal to have it up so he should have been a good law abiding citizen and taken the thing down.

God, I swear..........

The only time an injunction is involved is when a bunch of lawyers get in front of a judge and if said judge deems it worthy same will be done. In this case in didn't get that fucking far did it? Maybe nobody told you that but I'm sure they did. I just couldn't be bothered to re-read the thread to point out what you've missed time and time again. Gawd... some people.....

You do realize that you can put a new backboard on an old pole, right? You're being deliberately obtuse at this point, and it's rather pathetic.

An injunction can be issued without going to a judge.

Now your really splitting hairs. Retro give up already before you have to take another pill to get rid of your headache. All the smart people on this board have told you what's what but you still don't get it.

Man gets letter stating he's in violation and must remove pole. Man says fuck them, it's my pole, and sorta my land and I can do what the fuck I want..... so fuck 'em.. Officials say... oh that nasty man just doesn't get it and neither do his stupid neighbors so we gotta get them poles and out they come. Video gets posted and Retro gets wind of it so off to the internet rescue he goes. ( cue rescue music ) Gawd, the horror and travesty of it all.

And just who would issue it? :24:

injunction [ɪnˈdʒʌŋkʃən]n1. (Law) Law an instruction or order issued by a court to a party to an action, esp to refrain from some act, such as causing a nuisance
2. a command, admonition, etc.
3. the act of enjoining

honestly...if the bloody thing was 60 years old....its even more reason to get rid of it...:dunno

It would be rusted/rotted and dangerous....although in the clip it looks nowhere near 60 years old.;)
It actually looks quite new.

oops...forgot the..

"for fuck sake listen and read..... my fucking head hurts, for fucks sake" " you're all fucking wrong but me"

Without going before the judge... it can be done through a legal filing and getting a judge to sign it. Stop being purposefully dense here.

Splitting what hairs? You're the one that claimed that it couldn't be as old as it was because of the backboard.

Attempting to mock me is really impressive though, I'm really proud of you. :24:

He took legal steps to get it resolved peacefully. Jesus.

More hair splitting Retro. Someone has to file the bloody thing and a judge still has to review it and then render a decision. The dumn ass mofo didn't take it that far... Got it yet?

Retro you've gone beyond even your boundaries to show just how stubborn you really are. I applaud you for it. Your like a pitbull and never give up. :clap

No... no... and more no. All he did was contact his state rep. So what?

So far as I know murder is against the law. Because it's my intent to have the law changed I'm going on a rampage and am gunna knock a few idiots off. Before I do I'll send a letter to my rep just for insurance sake cuz I don't want to get arrested. Ya ... that would fly

Apples and oranges.

Let me put this in very fucking simple terms, so that even a fucking moron could understand it.

He contacted his state representative, who got lawyers involved, and he believed the injunction was put in place. He also attempted to contact the proper authorities regarding the issue, and never received anything back from them. Looks to me like he took the steps necessary to try and resolve the problem.

Is that simple enough for you? Or do I need to dumb it down further?

Now. I'll say this.

I honestly don't give a flying fuck about the fucking basketball hoop. Is that clear enough for you guyzerr? Or do I need to say it again.

I.
Don't.
Care.
About.
The.
Basketball.
Hoop.

Now, do you understand that? Good.

Now, let me proceed to the next point. My issue is the blatant lying for a governmental or law enforcement official. Additionally, I take issue with the fact that this country has turned into a complete nanny state. This is a complete non-issue here, and it shouldn't have ever gotten this far. The fact that so many resources were spent by a state that has the 6th largest debt in the country says a whole helluva lot.

My problem is the slow but steady erosions of personal freedom and liberty in this country.

Now, do you understand all of that yet? If not, well I guess there's nothing that I can do to help you at this point. Not my fault if you're still clueless after all of that.
