It still hasn't been proven the woman was a trooper and even if she was so what. The guy was being a deliberate asshole by breaking the law and he knew it.

The ones that need to get their heads out of their ass are you youngns'. Quit with the kneejerk reactions. The law is the law and he knew it. It shouldn't have gone to the extent it did. That's a total waste of taxpayers money. The guy should have followed the law, heeded the letters and removed the fucking pole. Then gone about it through proper channels to have the law overturned. You Yanks keep spouting off how great your system is so how about backing it up by following it.

I'm done with this thread. As usual a person can't have a civilized discussion on this board regardless of how hard he tries. Common sense doesn't come easy for some of you. See ya.............

God, there really isn't any point in talking to you, is there? You completely ignore everything except for one small point, and then go after that like a rabid dog. There's plenty to investigate in a situation like this. Plus, not all laws are just or constitutional. There's nothing wrong with civil disobedience, and that isn't even what this was.

Fact 1: An official (whether she be a state trooper, other law enforcement, or someone with the city/state) attempted to deny his First Amendment rights.

Fact 2: The same official lied to him, stating one thing originally and then saying something else a minute later... while denying she made the first statement.

Fact 3: This guy had been in contact with his state representative and was attempting to go through legal channels to resolve this.

Law enforcement is always above reproach, right? This lady didn't do anything wrong, is that it? Give me a fucking break.

I gotta say...I never (or rarely) see any of the following from the "older and more decrepit" posters... who often choose to leave an argument/debate thats getting out of hand, rather than resorting to this sort of "argument"

Got a problem with some of the Poles in my town, the're always starting fights in nightclubs, stealing from cash machines and stealing ornamental fish out of ponds to eat. That said, I had a couple of them living next door to me up until yesterday and they were alright. :D
 
I can't watch the video at work, so I can't comment on the entire thing, but IF the male was being irate and causing a scene w/ multiple people around then he CAN be arrested for causing a public disturbance and it is not a violation of his First Amendment rights according to the law. You can always tell the people that were being dicks and pissed off the police...they're the ones that have a criminal history that includes things like "public use of profanity" and "jaywalking" and "keeping a disorderly house." Just like I've never EVER heard an officer say "Stat 8 (warning) with an accuracy check (radar gun calibration)." You call what they tell you into question, you can count on a ticket. LOL

can they tell someone to go back into their own house and to keep their mouths shut while they're on their own property while government officials steal their property?
