Every one reading the thread saw your mistake in comparing total employment to per capita employment....why deny it?
Why not admit you didn't understand the difference between funding for State, Local and Federal employment on the graph?

Why keep making a bigger fool of yourself?

It was your fuck up accept it.

I had found a similar chart showing a reduction in fed employees as well...but the decline wasnt as much as your chart maybe 20 percent,,,it did however show a major jump in state and local employees {of which many are federally funded}.
I cant find it now...but the increase in state and local was rather high.

See its not just fed spending getting us anyway...state and local spending has climber very fast.
I would have no objection to spending if it was just fed level
Its the combination of all that equate to 20 grand per citizen...50 grand per household.
Education alone..average 10 grand per student.
Then when we start throwing in federal education in way of grants etc...I think it was close to a trillion itself.
The war and education had about the same spending with defense actually coming in a little less.
We could trim there for sure.
Also cut back state and local funding to the 2000 level...and freeze current tax schema for state and local to revenue per citizen to 2000 levels...then adjust for inflation

By me stone...why are you being dishonest to the forum?
This and your bullshit from the other day...Do you have issues?
You are either a moron or a dishonest POS..take your pick ole friend.

here are the exchanges...you are trying to toss in the other graph that does not follow the original exchange.
You really should stop being dishonest in from of the forum.

You posted that graph not knowing that 21 million were not the total of federal employees.
Only 3 million were and it's clearly marked total, not per capita.

You can post all the conversations you want to try to hide your ignorance, but this link to your post says it all:
http://www.offtopicz.net/showthread...they-Pretend&p=2271815&viewfull=1#post2271815

You compared per capita employment to total employment and later commented in ignorance about 21 million government employees, not understanding the red line related to Federal and the other two State and Local.
And in this thread, State and local government employment is not relevant to Federal income tax rates.

You are a boob....:D

If you want to be taxed into a third world country.
40 x since 1960....when do we stop?
How much revenue is enough...the govt spends 50 k per household.
Now considering the majority of roads have been here for decades and most of the govt building already built.etc
Why the accelerated spending?...we are basically in maintenance mode here not building a gov and public services we are just maintaining them.
At the rate of 40x times since 1960 I might add.
And some agree to tax hikes !!!!!

Please read my posts before stating such.

My position has ALWAYS been that we need to reduce spending while adjusting how taxes are paid in this country.
Yes it has, and I agree. Your indication way back when I made my post was responding to your indication that Our current debt wasn't created by excessive spending. You've since clarified.

I'm not particularly interested in contributing to this particular clusterfuck. I'm sure the topic will come up again and we can pick it up in a more sane atmosphere.
