a fool in heart believes in something they can never prove.

lol ok use the scientific method to prove Jesus existed now please. I want precise data, peer reviewed journals and reputable scientists own data on the matter.

Asking questions is weak minded? Those are very valid questions. Asking questions is the sign of a curious and intelligent person. Where is the proof? if god has always existed, than why not say the universe always existed without a god?

You just said science can prove the existence of Jesus Christ yet then you go on to ridicule atheists for asking you to prove his existence....

Can you disprove that there is no fat whatsoever in some of the non-fat foods advertise on Tv? No, but you buy it anyway. Can disprove the supplements that they say would make you lose weight in six weeks? No, you can't but you buy.

What i am trying to say is you can't find Jesus unless you believe seek him.

actually if i had the correct materials and facilities I could in fact prove that. I could do the same with the supplements, in fact there are companies that's business is to do just that.

what a failure of a rebuttal

I was a Catholic once, and I KNEW why I believed. I "KNEW" that I found god. However, I turned 15 one day.

I am not taking a side here, but with all of the recorded interactions with Jesus, isn't asking for proof of his existence the same as asking for the proof of the existence of any person of that period? It is historical that he existed. The part that is under review is whether he was tha son of God and performed miracles or not right?

I am not saying that asking a question is weak mined my friend. I am saying that asking the same question over and over again to disprove Jesus is weak minded when i have seen so many all over the net to your questions.

The food I eat, and what I believe in are on like totally different levels of importance to me. Haha.
I believe that if it says no fat, it has less fat than when it says there is, and that is good enough for me.
I also believe that God doesn't exist, and it's a BS way to explain the universe.

If fat was... poison or something that would kill me, damn right I wouldn't eat anything that might have "fat" in it.

Really, it made no sense that you compared believing in Jesus to eating non-fat foods.

How about you scroll back up and answer the question.
What makes your religion right and other religions wrong? People from every religion feel the same way that you do, and have also "found" their God.
What makes YOU right and not the other hundreds of religions over the years?

You know back in Jesus's time, other religions existed then too. Christianity just grew so popular because it would accept anyone, whereas other religions were picky about who could join. Be it white males only, or rich employed white men.

Absolutely, but other people in history were documented, Jesus was not, no carvings on the walls, no nothing. It was by word of mouth.
... THEN years later, the bible was written.

Actually there's zero historical, scholarly proof that he existed. No one mentions Jesus Christ until decades later when Christianity was established. He could have been a real person, but then again that doesn't help the cause of whether or not he was divine. There were dozens of people running around the middle east and the Mediterranean at that time claiming to be the messiah.

And you know what you want to prove Jesus? The bible and faith. Faith is what draws us close to god. And if you have those material, then you will find him my friend.

I'm not trying to disprove Jesus at all. I really don't care if he existed or not. Actually, the burden of proving Jesus Christ is on you, since the professor of a claim needs to justify it with proof.

All religions have a version of the "Golden Rule" which is Do unto Others as you would have done to You. So I think all religions are right and just covered up in Dogma.

I've read the bible several times. Several. All that is there are old Jewish legends, folk lore and myths that ware subject to cultural diffusion over time. The concept of heaven and hell were borrowed from ancient Iranians and Persians. Not to mention all of the contradictions and hilarious stories.

Faith is ridiculous because its based on nothing. You literally believe just to believe with nothing as its base.

Okay, obviously you guys have more info than me, So I will take a bow and leave now. Because I really don't know much about it, but I do know the church in my community growing up was a big influence on me as a person because it taught me charity and it helped us to build up our community, so it wasn't that bad to believe in God IMO.

Yes that's true, and religion means well, but as far as gods, goddesses and all of that, I don't buy it one bit.

Of course it isn't bad to believe in God, Lexi.
I just think that I have very valid reasons not to.

You don't have to believe in God to be a good person. :)
